As for the iris, the eyeball_iris is part of the eyetracking function for Source models. Basically, each of the eyeballs should have a basic background texture, which would be the white area around Miranda's eyes. The iris texture is the colorful part of the iris, which gives the eyeballs the illusion that they're moving.
Setting the eye balls is really damn difficult and not even I can figure that out. You almost would be better of getting the actual eye texture from the game, adding a custom material onto the eyes and adding bones to the eyes.
You might want to remove the jigglephysics as well, they're horrible and quite annoying, I don't think you even added them to the model either.
Also, the jaw_drop flex shouldn't have the lips moving outwards, it looks very un-natural at the moment.
As for the wounded Garrus problem, I found the first issue, you haven't created a material called:
"TUR_HED_PROGarrus_Damage_MAT_1a", which also is listed as one of the errors.
I don't know what textures that material is supposed to use and I really don't wanna go through all the million texture files, sry. But at least you know what the issue is.
In SFM, it's trying to look for that material in the base turian folder as well as the garrus sub-folder.
I'll have a look at Miranda now.
I fixed that however. I'll see if the issue which appears in the command prompt of SFM appears for me.
Also, make sure you have not set some weird ASCII letters or anything like that in any of the file paths which are invisible to you.
Same with Miranda.
Second, there are two materials called "tur_hed_progarrus_damage_mat_la" and "tur_hed_progarrus_damage_mat_la" on the wounded Garrus model, for which you have not made materials.
It doesn't tell me what type of file it needs
I probably could fix her for you since it probably doesn't take too long
