I don't think this mod still works right?

damn this actually seems really cool, especially the stone sword and rock suit, plus the wool sack seems helpful in uncompromising mode.
it's a shame it's been abandoned.

I can craft only few things of this mod because of new craft menu. In the "mod" section of new craft menu there is only wool backback and something else, max. 3 things from this mod

I'll take a proper look at it a bit later so no need to take it down yet. I'll add you as a dev here when I've added your quotes and fixed the ui

Ah, I will take the mod down then. I do have an idea for a mod that fixes all crafts for the UI update remotely though. Might do that at some point

For anyone wondering about the Bucket Helmet, Silentine's original idea was that it was something you could craft with all your 3% football helmets as a way to extend their durability. I tried to keep everything largely the same as the original.

Man I love how people have these ridiculous ideas in their heads that prevent them from actually being a good skilled gamer. Good thing I don't got any of those getting in MY way.

The mod crashes when i have another one open, unfortunately i cant figure which one does that.

Can anyone tell me if this mod is currently working?

Even then at that point swapping between warming gear/rain gear is better cause you don't have to go back for your backpack everytime you get in a fight. I can see it being good for a WX with an eyebrella though. That's just me. The something im working on right now is adding turf to an edit of a mod I made to better fit a setpiece btw.

LOL I don't mean just wearing a log suit all the time, that's just stupid at least early game, but still pointless late game. I just swap to it the second I start getting into a fight after I make sure my backpack isn't in any danger from splumonkeys or fire situations. Most people don't understand how important armor is and how absurdly necessary log suits are to survive comfortably.

Understandable but me personally I never ever see anyone use log armor. Myself included, cause I just swap to the helm when in combat then swap back but if your in the ruins were you always need to be prepared to get hit when its raining and your WX or it's winter (cause your in the ruins while its raining for some reason or it's winter) then the log armor is good. But that's my experience. Anyway I think this is enough of this. Enjoy the mod ima go do something or something something.

I use the log suit all the time bruh, how else are you supposed to wear an eyebrella as WX-78 to avoid the rain entirely? And how else are you supposed to wear your beefalo hat in winter and fight at the same time? Nothing is ever gonna replace the log suit if it ain't starting in the body slot.

ah no default recipe is 1 football 4 logs 2 ropes if thats what you were asking

@johnsir You mean legit as in the football helm has to have 100% durability or like...? Cause I compare it more to log armor considering no one really uses it cause its just a football helm but in the body slot. I didn't want the bucket helm to just be an objective upgrade to log armor (which it is now)

Oh wow if the default bucket helmet recipe is legit a football helmet with 3 boards and 1 rope then it was just bad mod design in general, unless it has MUCH better stats (like durability) than the football helmet.

As for logs though, I don't know about you, but I don't just carry 4 stacks of logs on me, or a shovel and axe with me everywhere. I specifically only have 1 stack of logs for supplies, and if I can only make ONE piece of armor with all that, the armor must have absurdly high durability or some huge benefit. My context is that I'm in the ruins for the summer cause I forgot to set up my base for summer, and trees there are obviously non-existant entirely.

@johnsir I updated it. I added config between default recipes and my recipes. I understand your point but you make it sound like logs are ultra hard to get. I'll lower the board cost to 2 and rope to 1. I can see that being fine but again it was mostly for Uncompromising mode cause pig skin is harder to get.

I noticed absolutely no difference between it and the football helmet other than it was 50x harder to make.

Football helmet: 3 grass and 4 monster meat (because pig skin)
Bucket helmet: football helmet, 6 grass, 12 logs
That is A LOT MORE work and way more tedious, ESPECIALLY if you're wormwood. It's completely worthless and not even worth my time if I'm trying to repair a low durability football helmet as the cost is much much much much higher than just remaking one from scratch.

I think the bucket helm is fine cause its just a better log armor that only costs 4 more logs

@SirYawns Did you also change the bucket helmet recipe? Cause HOLY cow that thing is total garbage and not worth my time to make in that mod.

Personally I think the double resources on the wool sack makes sense as it's really a huge leap up from a backpack, but if you've changed anything else to be harder to make or less useful or something, I'd like the original settings put up that i can swap to.

I could still be balanced without UM cause the piggy back is already unused as is. Making it more of a later game backpack.

@johnsir Note: the wool sack craft was doubled to be better balanced with Uncompromising mode I can make a public version with the original recipes if you want. :)

Bruh it's so such an oxymoron to have a mod say IN THE TITLE that it's fixed, and then it doesn't work whatsoever. Really bad choice of words to have cause obviously Klei still updates their game. I'm disappointed you didn't immediately fix either the mod or the title as soon as one of the biggest updates EVER happened.

remake skin for bucket helmet to for example like knight helmet with hole in the front of the characters face (would be looking more cool)

change recipe of battery to nightmare fuel cause its too expensive and make bettery not dropable from tools (make battery everytime needed to craft)

for multitool change baterry to 1 gear (for multitool baterry is to unlogic)

+ remove footbal helmet from bucket recipe

+ add configuration to change for all those items its durability,damage,crafting recipe and etc

would be good for remake skin for marble helmet that look bit stupid -_-

If you ever come back to tweaking this mod, I feel that the vaccum bulb's sanity on hit needs a nerf, make it 1 against nightmares and 0.5 against everything else.

I can't seem to reproduce it locally. If you haven't worked with dedicated servers before, I would suggest maybe disabling the mod and seeing if that fixes it. If it does, then try clearing the mod data and letting it redownload and reenable it

its also telling me to check "log" for more details, but Id be lying if I said I knew what that is or where its located.

"Dedicated Server Failed to Start" "There was some sort of trouble startig the server. Please try again."

That's odd. What's the message that pops up?

Had no other mods enabled - it crashes when trying to create a server or join one that has this mod enabled. Menus and all that are fine, but it crashes whenever you click generate world
