could you slightly lower the range on the War-Maidens, they feel a bit op but i wanna still use just a bit more balanced

still works for me no problems going into turn 240 absolute gem. iceni navy is ass without these maidens and their big ships.and female archers with Big sticks, hard to say no to xD great aganist fending off light cavalry but using them to fight in the shield wall isn't so great lacking armor, good light infantry for flanking.

after 50 - 75 end your turn game is crashed. i love this mod but cant play. can u fix this pls

Halo, i'm in the middle of creating my own mod and currently stuck at applying the face tattoo on my female unit. Do you use TWeak.AssemblyKit for creating you variant meshes? And if you do which attribute do you use for applying those face tattoo?

I've been using this for a bit... does it replace ALL generals now w/ female units? I haven't had a male unit spawn since forever. Why not make it 50/50% M/F, for variety?

this looks amazing dude i love it

They're the best looking unit I've seen in the game by far. They're shields and armor are really detailed. They're reminiscent of the stormcloaks from Skyrim. HOWEVER, they are wildly overpowered. I did a few test battles where i had a mix of them fight royal spartans and heroes of sparta and they had beat them with a 3:1 kill ratio. Balance them, and then I'd use them in the campaign.

would love to see swords women from the previous female units for the iceni mod. These were good quality medium melee infantry with shield wall ability.

I actually did start doing Egypt some time ago after I released this mod, but not as a full on reskin mod.

It was going to be the same as this mod, a few new female units with general reskinned to fit everything nicely ^^

Thanks, my main issue was finding the pack file. Thought it was going to be in Rome 2's directory, but it was a different folder entirely. Once I found that out it was pretty easy to edit the numbers.

- Download Pack File Manager (PFM)
- Open it, load my icenimaidens.pack
- Go to db > main_units

There you will find numbers for men in a unit. Don't edit the SHIP/NAVAL variation of units otherwise the naval unit will be buggy.

can you make a version with the original female general appearance?

How would I go about increasing the unit sizes? I have my Rome 2 modded so that all of the units are x2 that of vanilla, and I want to jack up the unit sizes of your mod so I can use it. Having issues finding any guide online on how to increase the size of custom units.

As a suggestion, you should totally add a unique Chariot unit/bodyguard unit, since that's what Boudica was known to use (hence the 'spears' on wheels are named after her), they would have to be scytched for historical accuracy

Yeah I get you, and tbh I do hate how barbarians cannot ram with their ships yet they have skills which increase ramming speed (Traditions). Why on earth they took out the ability is beyond me, makes the naval capabilties of these people weak..

Indeed they shouldn't, BUT unfortunately there is no way to create custom ships for now, don't know if it will ever change in the future :(

Initially I was going to use the Barbarian Heavy Raider ship, but the problem with it is that the ship can only hold 120 units and cannot ram.

So the only way for me to use it was to reduce the number of units on the ship to 120 or use another barbarian ship which can hold 160 units, but has a much lower HP than the top tier ones.

So in the end I had to settle by using a Roman ship which can hold 160 units, can ram and has high HP. I simply roleplay it as if the maidens clashed with romans and seized their ships, which isn't that far fetched considering Iceni faction also has Persian and Greek ships (if you go to Custom Battle).

Also should the maidens really be riding Quinmarines? It seems out of place with the culture, maybe heavy raiding ships?

Keep up the good work, I'd love to see the outfits/variety and beautification hitting more factions, since some are very bland.

I married him and then married the King's son afterwards. Wife of the King's son spawned with Boudica's model. I believe the same should be for you too if you try it that way. Marry Rainorix first, then the King's son.

As for names or custom generals, there's no way to create a custom general at the start of the game without editing an incredibly important file that is used for every single faction and is not compatible with other mods that edit the same file. So it's just how it is, a model replacer for one of the female generals was the only logical way to go around this.

Hey Crimson, I think something messed up. In my game the Boudica Model is the dead ex-wife of Rainorix. Is it possible to make the model replace Blandia the wife of the king? It'd be better if you could replace the name to lmao

- All male generals had their appearances reworked.
- King Adiatorix now looks more kingly compared to the rest of his generals

Yes, Foxy is right.
When you Subscribe, it automaitcally installs the mod for you.
You can tick or untick the mod in Mod Manager, to activate or de-activate the mod in the game.
To uninstall, you simply press Unsubscribe, and again it automaticlaly does it for you.

The real question is: Will the AI recruit them?

I forgot to mention in the comments that there was an update yesterday (there are change notes in the top right) which slightly changed the apperance of female generals to make them look a bit better and appropriate.

As for seeing a lot of same looking female generals, unfortunately the Iceni faction (or all factions) pretty much have only 5 female general variants compared to male generals which come in dozens, so it's a very small pool of generals to choose from and that's why you see a lot fo the same ones unfortunately.

I haven't found a way to add more generals yet am afraid ^^
