it was two months after the first bite. the virus had nearly wiped itself out. the specials had all died. from exaustion, from natural causes, from dissolving themselves in their own juices. all that was left was the commons, their arms weakened, they were going for bites. unluckily, zombie saliva is much more potent for infecting. not even the so called 'immunes' could withstand a few bites. their bodies were nearly dirt, feasting on what little meat they could scavenge. their limbs atrophied from a simple lack of food, but that never stopped them. their heart never beat. yet something kept those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ things alive. only a headshot would bring one down, and even then some walked around without one. nearly everyone was dead. only a few stragglers, chicago ted (allegedly.) and a ragtag group of a veteran, a movie lover, a biker, and an office worker were left. now, our heroes need to get to safety through... the PLAGUE OF THE DEAD.

Dr. Doctor, you do realize that you look for servers when you aren't using local servers. When you use Local Server that means you host it.

Just saying, But I would play Left 4 dead 2 normally without really thinking twice about what I was doing I would just go through the entire level.

In this case I played this mutation alone on No Mercy.

Needless to say this is literally the most terrifying experience I've ever had in this game. This mode frightens the ♥♥♥♥ out of me. it's like one wrong move or one bad corner and you're completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥. This mode literally has you tense and paranoid as you walk around every corner. Instead of mindlessly shooting in hordes you are just absolutely scared out of your mind because the zombies tend to group up together by even GREATER numbers then just small waves of 10-15 zombies easily dying within 10 seconds.Everything about this mode is just so fun and enjoyable, and it's ashame not alot of players are online to see this mode. This is absolutely fantastic playing alone or with friends, and if it's too easy feel free to amp up the difficulty, then play it.

The pilot saving you at the concert of Dark Carnival actually crashes because he turned into a Zombie. That's why you end up in the swamp in the first place. Yeah yeah, they were saying he could've been bitten and it wasn't an army chopper but to recite Nick: "SCREW THIS!"

This is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ arcade zombie shooter, not some hyper-realistic survival simulator. Sort your ♥♥♥♥ out and stop discussing over such blatant ♥♥♥♥.

ahh Jeff. Didnt you see the Helicopters inside ? it was locked in 3 parts... that way the army could save carriers. there was the back where theres probably the fuel tank and stuff.. and the middle part where you can run in and survive the campaign. and there was the pilot seat which you couldnt see because it was like a containment room.. the survivers never saw the pilot(s). so i still think they where carriers.

Maybe use adrenaline to stop the infection?

Dr.Potato, it is unknown if the L4D2 survivors are Carriers or not, though they're likely not, as there was no new campaign added by valve that shows the heli crashing

The l4d2 and 1 chacrters are imumme but still carry the viruis.

It's a mutation for god's sake, it doesn't really need to adhere to the main storyline. I didn't see anyone complaining about the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ healing gnome one.
I for one am excited to play this.

You're assuming they're not immune, which is something they say at least a few times during the campaign missions.

Technically the survivors in l4d and l4d2 would've all died immediately due to the infection being spread via fluidic contact.

the only problem is the reason i have a problem is that the reason bites don't work for the survivers i there carriers so they are immune but infect others aronund them

I love realistic zombie games so i always play on the headshot mutation. Anyways. is there any way to stop/slow down the infection my idea: Medkit: Cures Infection. Pills: Lenthens Infection By 1 Minute. Adreniline: Lengthens For 30 secs,

All Mutations can be played online as long as you're hosting a Local Server. Unless a group server has the addon installed. Other players will need the Mutation as well in order to connect.

Great,the mod adds a sence of realism that realism didnt add if you could get infected and turninto an infected

Started out with it being pretty easy, just running around headshotting with pistols or taking out groups with shotguns. All the infected were easily knocked back or killed, and you could almost always run past them all anyway. Then i got to the finale and made it out with every other survivor dead and myself only having four health left. All I know is that molotovs and gas cans are my best friends in this.

Nice job ill pry end up subscribing, but b4 i do, i have an idea that you could have ammo spawns but u would just make it so each person could take ammo out of only 2 times. just a thought

everyone the point is to not have much ammo so it is difficult

I'd also like it if you added the ammo points back, or else it forces you to use the melee weapons of the game, which become VERY boring to use after a while

The idea was, having no ammo spawns would encourage players to pick-up new weapons, since supplies are limited during the apocalypse. Players could use melee or pistols until they find a new primary weapon.

Very good mod, but it is possible to place the ammo-points again ? Without any ammo to reload it is very hard to play. ...and not so funny, like to shoot the infected out of the way at any time. ^^
