@the_jevry, crises don't spawn immediately. They can only occur after the start of the endgame time period that can be set prior to starting the game. Unlocking this technology simply allows for the unbidden to be a crisis instead of the Contingency or Prethoryn Scourge.

The link I gave previously details how the mechanic works.

it doesnt say if it spawns emmediately after you unlock the tech or where it spawns on the wiki..

@ThatRedGuy, using the jumpdrive does not increase the chances of the crisis occurring. Only initial acquisition by any default empire can cause it.

The Unbidden are an endgame crisis. They, of course, spawn in the endgame, however they will only spawn in the galaxy if someone uses jump drive too much.

If you want their endgame crisis to spawn faster, then research jump drive and install this jump drive mod.

@the_jevry. Korbis is originally refering to the Unbidden endgame crisis which can only be triggered through acquisition of the jump drive or psi jumpdrive.
