No, mods are not cheats. You get flagged as a cheater by using the console to change your level or stats or something similar. Mods are not considered cheats.

Because it would have automatically deleted everyone's items without them knowing. Making a new version at least you have a choice as to when to update.

How about high drops to Bood and Iron socket gems? lately I haven't seen much of them around in my game since I installed this mod,mostly chaos and very rary void gems

That would be it. There will be a new version(s) of LAO coming out. It has been rebuilt from the ground up. So if you upgrade to that version, you will lose all of your items. The mod will be much improved though and it will be worth it. If you don't want to upgrade, just unsubscribe from this mod.

There is a chance the mod will get released as a new mod though, because it will cause a lot of grief if I just released it as this one :)

It's ok, I figured it out. Load a character up with both mod versions, quit, load again with the new one you want to use.

Is there a way to switch between the different versions of your loot mods without losing the items?

Just an fyi, there is a new version of this mod coming out soon. You may want to just wait for that one to come out. It's a much improved version.

I haven't tested it, I will later tonight when I get home from work. There really shouldn't be a reason that it would though. All though it seems that it may. I will let you know what I find out.

My cousin and I really want to try this mod, but we don't want to use it if it has problems with the Respec potion mod. Have you tested it with that mod on, RnF?

That is because the information was deleted. I can't be restored that way unfortunately. You will have to find new gear unless you had a backup.

Well if you turned off my mod, you are going to lose all the stuff you found. It isn't in the vanilla game. Turning the mod off is the same as deleting all of your equipment. This is not just a drop mod, it adds thousands of new items in the game as well. Turn off the mod means turning off the gear.

Didnt fix it... just odd that this happened after i turned off your mod.. and all my saved data was gone..

Do not install this mod, I installed it played it for 4+ hours... took a break came back and all the stuff i had found was gone not to mention lost 4 hours of work about 10 levels.. ITS HORRIBLE DONT INSTALL

Yup, that's intended. The armor rating should be slightly higher on the legendary armor items. Legendary weapons should have a higher damage, but the affixes will be the same as well. There is another version of LAO in the works to help address this issue. Currently every unique has the legendary version with the same affixes.

Did some more testing overnight, i noticed that there are quite a few uniques that are the same name/stats as legendary items. For example, in act 1, i found true north pants (unique) with the same stats as my true north pants that are legendary.

It does not work with respec potion * outlander rebalance MOD. i did 5x boss runs with each enabled to make sure of it.

Ok i tested it, and the "Respec Potion" MOD is the one that was disabling it.

Yeah for some odd reason it does not work with some mods enabled, and it does not work with the synergy high loot drop mod ether.

i am doing the same boss 2 times using the mods, ading 1 mod every 2 times.
SO far,
Tiered passive+LAO = no effect on loot (still dropping legendaries)

Sounds good. Not sure why those mods would effect LAO when it's loaded on top. There must have been some other change to a spawsclass(es). LAO basically changes global settins and added a spefic spawn class for boss drops. If someone else added other spawn classes, it very well could affect drops globally.

Hey RNF just wanted to let you know that i played a new world with ONLY your mod and it worked. I got a few legendaries already from 2 boss encounters. Im not sure which of the mods i had previously listed affected the drop rate. I will need to figure it out later.

just killed Thiss in act 3. I got 1 unique, and zero uniques from the ornate chest. I was getting like 1-2 legendaries/boss last night :( dunno what happened!

thanks for the reply, it's definantly not a string of bad luck. I have gone all of act3 now (just recharged powersource in act3) and have only got one legendary drop and like 2 unique drops. I have been playing on the internet and rerolling the world every login. I even killed the same boss 4x in a row on a rerolled world.. maybe i should play w/o the other mods?
