Love this little guy and what is arguably one of the best boss fights in the game, but I need help with something ludicrous. A weird vapor tunneling effect happens every time I finish the boss fight and exit the core. Nothing gets rid of it, reloading, quitting and restarting, waiting, sleeping, nothing. I'm in VR and it's making the game unbearable. How do I get rid of it.

A wonderful companion, adding a lot of charm and color to the game.

I have a idea for the mod,
after luciens main quest is completed and CLIVE! has been achieved have lucien recieve a letter from his parents, going about that the imperial city has been attacked by a unknown party (this is up to the mod authors debate) lucien stressed by this stresses the dragon born to come with him to save his family, (i know this (if implimented) would take a while to impliment but my thought is that only the main city of cyrodiil is implimented to save time and map size, and then its up to the dragonborn and lucien to save the imperial city?

Ok, I have to leave a comment here since I solved a very strange bug I had with Lucien.

'Visit Lucien in Dumzbthar' had no quest marker for me for some reason. I looked all over Dumzbthar even with the Aura sensing shout and found nothing in the whole dungeon. With the help command I found the code to travel to where ever he is hiding (movetoqt b54acfac).

And there he is, mining ebony ore at the bottom of Northwind Mine. All the way back in Skyrim.

Not sure why that went wrong, I think another one of my mods set his home location there when I visited it some time ago somehow?

Anyway, I got him back and just thought I'd share!

Thank you for creating this follower mod. I have thoroughly enjoyed it thus far.
However I have noticed that I am unable to teach Lucien more spells after teaching him the first spell. The first spell I chose was the candlelight spell and after he learnt it, I was unable to teach him anymore spells.
What can I do to fix this?

Thank you for this mod, it has inspired me a lot along with F:NV on making really good dialogue for my mods.

I am really enjoying having Lucien as a companion. He is hilarious. I am, however, stuck in Dumzbthar. I have two different places where the button will not open the door/gate to continue and I believe I have otherwise explored all other parts of the ruin. What am I missing? Lucien has no conversation options on this so he has no information to help me, it seems. Thank you for making such a great mod!

You have to take the Lexicon off the corpse of the Dwarven Commander, and place it into the Lexicon stand. This makes one of the gates/bridges open to allow you to continue through the dungeon. If you don't think it's worked, reload a save and try again.

This. Is. Amazing. I just recently was able to download him (for I just now received the Dragonborn DLC) But I can already tell how much hard work was put in. Love your work!

i have a little problem and hope that someone maybe had the same. When i go with lucian to his mod quest. In Solstheim in the dwemer ruin. When I reach the point where i have to activate the lexicon, after ofc killing the enemies in this stage... I can not activate it. For some reason it does not apply and from this point I can not move on. Is this a bug? Is there something before you have to do in order to activate it?

Sorry to hear that, that's bizarre! Has it fixed itself in the last couple of months, or is it still happening? It can't be a mod conflict, but something could have gone funny with the .bsa- the best thing I can suggest is to uninstall and reinstall the mod.

Hey I have a little problem. I've been using this mod for a while now, but now, all of the sudden Lucien won't work? In my old save where I already had him he just walks away, no dialogue available and in any new save, he's clothless (?) and same as in the old save, I can't communicate with him. Could it be some mod conflict or something?

When He asks me to get him a sample from mirmulnir there is no option to give it to him I even placed it in his inventory but nothing happened.

yep i have been training him when ever i had the chance to do so but it seemed like his hp never went up at all

@w4 Appreciate this one was a while ago, but you should have a map marker for him! He should be in his room in the Dumzbthar Core, across one of the bridges from the central "heart" chamber.

I like him a lot more then Sofia, Sofia in my opinion, does not have as much charisma, interesting backstory, and well, comedy as Lucien.

He has his own room there, just look around.

I'm afraid not - that'd mean stripping out a lot of content, including his personal quest, and would mean I'd have to maintain three separate versions of the mod instead of the current 2, which would massively slow development. Sorry!

Oh Do you plan on making a vanilla version of Lucien at any point?

Reading the letter should give you an objective marker for him. He should also have given you "Lucien's Resonant Sphere" after being with him for 3 days - you can use this to activate a tracking marker for him. If it doesn't show up on Solstheim, check the Skyrim mainland. If you're using My Home Is Your Home, he won't be in Dumzbthar, he'll be wherever you set his "home" as.

So i have just finished Lucien's personal quest and after waiting i got a letter and to go back to dumbzbthar and now i cant find him after spending 20 mins walking around can anyone help me find him?

I love Lucien! He's by far my favorite followersmod! It's very amusing whenever Lucien mentions his concerns about Inigo sniffing him xD

Do you need to have all the DLCs to work, or does he work in vanilla Skyrim as well?

That's a very tricky one as both sides seem pretty shady! All I can really say is that my gut instinct is always to turn Saadia in, and since Lucien shares a lot of similarities with me, that'd probably be his stance too!
