One of the best mods. Ty so much.♡

The packs are nice, except all the stat bonuses get overwritten by other clothes/armor, so if you want the bonus affects, you can't wear anything but the pack and your weapons.

Works well for me, except for the Athletics affect, that does nothing for me.

@Kirill Triple Kill, the backpacks should appear in any traveling gear shop, if they are not, then try changing the position of the mod thus changing the mod priority to load, can't remember if it is loaded last on top or bottom of list...
about the research, i didn't add research for them, if there is any then it's an addon made by another guy, you need to subscribe on both mods, and look into his mod

guys it should work. its just old updates like anyelse. Just put the mod way above the mod list so newer bagpack mod can over ride if necessary.

I doing super thief run and want to steal everything. The backpack still not large enough so I thinking of editing your mod for personal use to increase size even more but how to open the mod file??

there are backpacks without bonuses, and npcs wont use any of them cuz they are not included on the npc loot table if this is your fear

is it possible to remove the stat increasing backpacks entirely?

mod conflict probably, try changing the load order, this solves the problems most of the time

I'm not sure if this is because of this or the craftable mod, but all my umbra backpacks suddenly became thief backpacks today. So strange...

okay i believe i have it last but on the upside i just found one searching a ruined building so yes its working.

@Butterface there is probably a incompatibility, you will need to test mod by mod, but if i'm not mistaken, if you load it last or first it will work always, don't remember which one, i don't mod Kenshi anymore so good luck

so, somebody once said that the bonus are capped, when i made them it worked fine, so probably since i made the mod, a update came and capped for some reason, now those high level ones are only useful for they absurd capacity...

Is the backpack's bonus really effective? I tested using people with similar running skills, one carrying a 1000X backpack and the other not, but they always ran at the same speed, which made me doubt whether these bonus were effective.

@JKRACY probably mod incompatibility, you will need to test which mod is causing this, you test just this mod, they will probably appear again

Could someone tell me something? I haven't played the game for a little bit like maybe 6/7 months and i get on and the backpacks are gone and everything in them lol but im still subscribed to the mod? had everything i had in the backpacks...

Today's new update removed the backback again. Do I need to start a fresh new game for the backpacks to work again? And how do I avoid having to start a fresh new game every update?

I started a new game and it worked. New to Kenshi so maybe I need to learn about importing after a patch

Today's patch made the backpack's disappear and I just lost literally all my most prized items in them.

try a new game with only this mod, it is pretty common to occur mod incompatibilities in kenshi, if it works then just go adding your mods then it do'nt appear anymore in a new game, you can also try putting this mod on top or bottom of the mod list, this can solve the problem too, loading order is important sometimes too,if still don't work, sorry but i don't mod more for kenshi, so can't help you more, also, kenshi didn't received any big update that changed backpacks, so probably it's a problem on your side

@Zergachi Thank you for replying back. It is as you said, it was a very simple and easy to do edit, and best of all no conflicts appeared on any save files. I simply changed the encumbrance set from 0 to 0.2 and, got the desired 80% encumbrance. The hardest part was finding the file in the steam workshop folder whose last 4 were 3761. Also thank you for the extension to publish, but thats for far greater people than I. Please keep contributing to the modding community, we all look forward to them =)

Solid, i'm happy to know that the mod still works, and if you want to change it for your game, just need to open the mod creation kit of kenshi and select the mod, if you don't know anything, look on youtube, there is good videos teachign how to start up a mod, also, i don't remember well but there is a location showing everything that the mod changes, from there you will be able to change whatever you want, this mod is really simple and to be honest, writing the description of every backpack took more time than configuring them XD, if you manage to change the mod config, you are allowed to post you version in the workshop if you wish, i just ask that you place somewere a link to my mod and my name for credit on the description of it.

this is a great and very useful mod. I have not run into any issues with it, specially after having over 50 mods where incompatibilities are bound to happen. However, one humble request, as it stands, not having any encumbrance makes this mod very OP, and to many that's fine. I simply want a way to lower encumbrance from 100 to 80, while leaving everything fine as is. I know this is not something that many would like, and I would not mind changing the mod settings for my own play-through if told how to do it.
