Ok everyone so i figured out why the firerate might not be working: you might have the mod that makes the revolver require no reloading.

actually I played this on singleplayer and the only weapon editting mods I have are for shotgun and double barrel shotgun animations

Uh, it DOES have a new fire-rate but it only works for SP and COOP modes IIRC. Either you just tested it on versus only or you have another mod that overwrites the colt weapon params.

While the power is low, but the duration of the fire is greatly increased, and there is no limit to the number of bullets, very practical!

@1st Cadian, Uh, no it doesn't. Did you even try out the mod? It has 50 rounds, and much faster firing speed (and uses different model and sound obviously) so it doesnt work like the old colts.

it works like regular revover 12 rounds, revolver reload animation, revolver shooting speed only diffrent thing is the model and sound.

This mod is awesome, those old revolvers were plain boring and useless. Nice to have something cooler to replace, even if its not super useful its badass factor is 300+ compared to the revolvers.
