Finally, you CAN activate this mod in the middle of a playthrough, it will work perfectly. Just activate it before the Realm Divide event kicks off.
My issue was that i failed to understand that the load order was critical... For all those who have issues, ensure you follow the instructions of the guy that posted in the discussion section a guide, where he explains step by step which mods need to be loaded first.
Basically the No-Realm Divide must be at the top.
To figure out, whether the mod is working or not, you simply test a playthrough by conquering regions and winning battles. If the Yellow bar appears in the fame-meter and if you get the notification that the shogun "is watching with interest..etc" it means, the mod is not working.
However if the fame bar, is completely invisible and no yellow bar is appearing and you're not getting any Shogun notifications, it means it's working.
I tested it today and it is working for me, so it HAS to work for you too.
Realm Divide only triggered when you capture the Kyoto at this mod

For everyone else with the same problem: Open up this mod's .pack in PFM (in your Shogun 2 install location > data folder) and look at the 4 campaign variables changed. Open up the same 4 variables in the MoS_MUST_database .pack file and make the same changes. Redo the tweak if MoS ever gets updated.
