Guys, if you want to get on tower, follow these steps:
1. in the track where if goes up, go enable flashlight and find boxes and break them.
2. break the machine glass and take the 2nd can of beer and put it to the elevator where 1st can of beer.
3. Congratulations! You opened the elevator doors!

this seems to be the most popular race track map in gmod so I decided to call this the "nurburgring of gmod"

this map is so nostaligic, it reminds me of when i'd play with my friend

My fastest time around this track I've gotten is a 1:22.35. This map is great to help practice your track driving. There are a few hills that you need to be careful of you need to really slow down on them so you don't go flying. It's a good map to use on F1 Cars.

So for some reason when i play on this map now i get low fps before i didnt have this problem idk what causing it

Nerd koopa my vehicle has fallen through the floor too, it's the 64-bit beta, not the map

i switched to the chromium branch (from the 64bit testing branch) and the problem seems to have gone away, at least for the moment

i'll report back after further testing, sorry for clogging up your comments so much just i really missed being able to play this awesome map without issues and i dont wanna get my hopes up but i think it might be fixed

@pyro That is very weird. So far there have been only two people suffering from this issue, and I can't replicate it in any manner.

did a proper reinstall, loaded with zero addons fresh out of the gate excluding the multicore rendering commands, running on 64 bit branch and it's still doing it

its just so frustrating because i've had other people try and it produces the same result and even me completely nuking my gmod install i still have this issue although just a few months back i never had this issue, and it's even happening on your latest map

i just want to drive around in some circles rofl why can't anything work

@pyro This quite weird, because you are the only person so far who has encountered this, and I can't replicate the issue at all. Try checking your server settings.

yeah, tested it with a fresh install and also got 2 other people to try just going around with the default jeep with no other addons installed and it kept happening so i really have no ideas

@pyro I recommend a fresh install of Gmod at this point. Make backups of your important stuff and then nuke all the folders.

other maps like gm_sprint was completely fucked too, but instead the car just stopped in time between what i'm presuming are load zones or culls or whatever and then everything was just cunted so i think my game's just fucked or something which is annoying

@pyro Try disabling all addons, then drive the default HL2 jeep and see it if still happens.

strange, seeing as it's happening with the standard hl2 vehicles alongside the fact that everything was perfectly fine a few days ago and i haven't changed anything addon-wise

i'll try uninstalling everything and revalidating my files again to see if it fixes anything because it's a real shame not being able to play on this map because it's probably one of the best track-related ones for gmod

@pyro That's not an update issue, thats a car addon issue or possibly an over-eager antispam measure. Also any objects that rotate too fast will usually clip through level geometry in most Source based games.

has anyone else found the vending machine? I won't say where it is, but there's a vending machine with the second can inside it, just break the glass and take it to the tower and the doors open, it's really that easy, I saw the vending machine b e f o r e I saw the tower...

hey guys so i was playing with another friend, and we were flying planes around the map, and suddenly we saw this like dark figure flying across the map at a slow paste, he was flying horizontaly and it looked like a player quickly flying across, both me and my friend freaked out and seconds later we saw him fly from the top of the sky into the ground and go through it, we were extremely terrified by this and now we've been searching for him, any of you guys had this happen? also we were only 2 players and we'd get a notification if someone joined and left, plus the scoreboard, so... yeah help

could you at least give us another clue
