Everytime you "talk" to Jahan, even when u didnt do his quest yet after saying goodbye you gain 1 source point (first time talked to him with 3 source and got free ones)

Doesn't seem to be working for me. I'm playing on Definitive Edition and I've moved the pak file from steamapps/common/workshop etc to the Documents folder and enabled it in-game but when Ryker finishes his ritual the game continues as in vanilla when I have max source points when I'm controlling my custom character and when I use one of the characters with history I get two empty "..." dialogs and Ryker acts like he granted us a source point but the party still only has 3. Do I have to start a new game or do the entire quest since before I met Ryker for this to work?

Usually Jahan, one of the source teacher, is supposed to give the "summon inner demon" if one has finished his quest already with the max of source points unlocked.
I didnt come that far yet but I want to know if I still get that skill if I have 3 source points or do I not get that skill because of the increased SP-cap?

I've encountered a bug. Each time when i talk to any Source Masterhas,i will receive Source Points. This situation happened when i have more than two Source Points.

@Kvothe +1 max SP per quest is normal.
Finish more SP quests to get more SP. In original game you can get up to 3 SP, with this mod you can get up to 6 SP (for 5 source quests completed)

Hey man, the mod doesn't work with custom created characters without background. I have a save file just before turning the quest in to hannag and it's only giving me one source point. Is there a way to fix it ?Thanks

I do find this mod intriguing and the 9 max points mod. However is there a way, at all, that allows to gain one source point from each source master? Such as on the first time you gain 2 source points, which gives you 3. But to learn the last 6 you could do Power Awakening in it's entirety?

Not sure if that is possibly as i haven't done every single option but just inquiring!

okay so it does indeed work but if it doesn't show up on your mod list when you install you have to go through some hoops to get it to actually work.

Check the '..\Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition\Mods' folder to see if the pak file is there. A few people have reported issues in the Definitive Edition of the game with Steam not copying mods to the Documents folder.
If that is the case, you can search the '..\SteamApps\workshop\content\435150' folder for *.pak files and copy the recent ones there manually.

@kmsthanks Can confirm it works! I dunno what @Clown Society did to make it not work but mine works perfectly fine and am at 6 source points.

Sahelia gives you one right? Maxxed at three with one from mordus and one from the advocate.

Good mod & I will use it. As far as I know there are only 7 source masters, so how can you get 9 SP? I think 8 SP is much more reasonable XD

i can try to make a video but i dont know how helpful my save will be as i have a bunch of mods active and some need the norbyte script extender (usually in other games you cant remove mods mid playthrough dunno if its the same here)

Harry_894, yep, it`s a bug. I will think how to fix this, but not right now ( remote protection of final qualifying work makes me cry xD
PS thks for bugreport. Can you make a video with this bug? or share your save before fight with ryker? This will make it much easier to fix the bug.

i feel like i should let you know about a possible bug ... i am playing on tactician mode and using the randomizer gift bag so the game is very hard .... when i was fighting ryker i kept dying like 3 or 4 times and every time i die i just repeat the part where he gives me an extra source point ... i noticed it was giving more points every time regardless of loading the game .... like i started with 4 when i talked to him the first time and now i got 6 ....

yeah i was planning on doing that but i still prefer to get it in game (immersion and all) i only got cheat commander to add one more tag to my guy and havent used it since the start of the game

@Harry_894 I think yes. But if it would not - You can use "cheat commander" mod to get all spell books you want.

i have just finished hannags quest and i noticed that she gave me a source slot and also the book that was an alternate reward if i had max source .... will the same happen with jahan ? i have been holding on doing his quest as i really want that spellbook he gives

3 quests to have 4 SP.
4 quests to have 5 SP.
5 quests to have 6 SP.

do i need all three quests?

@TOTBESUCH did you complite these quests with this mod turned on? This mod modifies the scripts that run when these quests are successfully completed. So, if u finish them without this mod, than nothing should changes.

I see...I had 2 source master quests left when I installed this mod so I can only have 5 max source points, but that's enough

@Elerate you need to complete source masters quests from act 2.

I enabled this mod but the max source points are still 3

No,it seems talking to The advocate and Jahan does the same effect...I haven't tried other source masters,though.I suspect this problem only happens when your max source point is over 3,coz when I talk to the blackring witch in paradise down,nothing went wrong(I have 2 source point back then)

There seems to be a problem...Everytime I talk to Saheila in the saw mill,I get a Max SP point...up until 6......Is there a way you can fix that?

@Thistleeater at characters icon u can see up to 6 SP. But lower tray (with skills) can show only 3. (and there is no way to change that)
