Hi All, after the second sub par quality DLC I decided to abandon my SM mods, feel free to fork and republish.

@BLÀde It will say it needs power on the construction page, but once the tech is researched and the light is placed it won't require a connection or power.

ok i duplicated it but the lights are asking for power still

@BLÀde you can duplicate the mod in the mod editor and have it loaded to your game

i'm trying to edit the tech cost i want to set it to 1000 (for personal use only) but it's locked at 30000? how do i change it

No problem. I've been testing Updated Mod since B&B came out. It's a habit now.

Just tried it out. It works, but you have to start a new game. It won't work on any current game you're playing.

You may want to put that in your description. I'll inform people on my Mod Collection page.

It will still show the consumption on the build tab, but works as intended, for some reason I can't seem to remove it, might give it another go over the weekend.

Updated today, limited testing and QA spent with this as the I don't have the latest building pack Below&Beyond DLC yet.

@Quix0r - that is correct, that would be the idea behind it - this is similar to the sensor towers no longer requiring electricity breakthrough.

Hi, a bit confusing to me that an eletric lamp should work without electricity. Do you possible mean that it has its own energy source (like a solar panel, but not shown) built inside? So do you mean self-substaining lights?
