Maybe I will figure something out.
I'm doubt that this can get into Vanilla.
First: This is free.
Second: The Sunset Harbour DLC is already planned.
Third: Need special train, Metro to work properly. Won't and never happen in Vanilla.
And wait, 42 MB? How do you know???
I had just tested the station with the m100 and a bunch of other metro trains that I had subscribed to, like the R160 (NY subway), London Underground trains (NTFL and 1995 stock), and the M5 metro train. I observed no disappearance of trains or it getting stuck.
All of the trains that I have tested do not seem to be too long for the station, and all of them switched to the other track fine.
Maybe, you could try posting to the bug report thread of the Metro Overhaul Mod?
