That is correct. You just have to line up the projection to the desired attachment point. That's the heart of the modular system.

Man this must have taken ALOT of work! Hats off.. So if I start with the starting base and want to add to it, all I need to do is set a projector somewhere on the built section and then just dial in the projector settings to place the expansion where I want it correct?

ok use pillars to get the hight on planets gotcha

The modular base parts are designed to be built in space, or suspended off the ground on pilons or pillars. So if I'm understanding your question right suspended in the air and not sunk into the ground. But you're welcome to do as you fancy.

no noth that but does the sation need to be suspended in the air on do i sink it in th ground?

The projection needs to be attached to the ground somehow. For example you can place a basic armor block and then place the projection block on it or place the projection block on the ground itself. Then as needed you can adjust the projection to where you want it to be.

i have 1 question do i place the projection when building under ground or 1 block above ground?

I haven't tried these yet, but I can already tell they look amazing! How long did it take for all 39 modules just out of curiosity.
