Some of the ships in the mod are good. It would be a waste if the capsizing never got fixed.

I (we) appreciate all modder's efforts. I was using this mod to get tanks to shore, but ships randomly capsize. Seems like after the mission has been played awhile, then they will capsize. Now I'm looking again for a way to sea transport tanks. It is common to all the ships for debug help.

yup its just the Small Landing Ship with the issue... if i may suggest making a version without the viv? or the Ability to load stuff iside?

I don't know what's causing that, I'd have to look again. If it's happening to the small ship, then it's probably an inherent arma problem.

I LOVE the landing ships!!!!!
One slight issue is that if I load a saved game all the boats capsize. Fine for one session but load a save and they all go...... am I doing something wrong???

hello i really enjoy using your mod, but i need help, how can i open the bow ramp on the landing ship? i mean in the editor, with like a init command, since in the virtual arseal only the ramp pops out, not the doors, thank you for your time.:missing:

Not sure if you are still active, but I wanted to thank you for your efforts here. Arma3 lacks ships and this is the closest to what I think we will ever get to functional ships and walkable decks. My only suggestion would be to allow the use of the artillery computer using the missiles, that would help get those inland targets.

Hello , would it be possible to have a non-binarized version and therefore openable with OB (and with a small explanation it would be royal) to make boats over 50m, because on my side everything is functional except collisions geometry .

I haven't figured out a good way to do it directly from coordinates, but if you have a laser designator that's connected to datalink, you should be able to target that. My laser designator tripod mod works, or any laser designating vehicles with datalink enabled, but normal handheld designators aren't datalinked by default.

So ive been making a mission based on the Landing ship as the main asset on my mission. it is a extrange ravage scenario where the Landing ship is carrying all the scavenged from previous Scenarios kinda fun tbh however theres a killing bug that make my scenario dont work when the scenario starts its working fine not a thing wrong, but when i save and then load the scenario, the Landing ship just turn to the Left side and sink randomly. Ive try it with and without mods trying diferent Mod ships empty and with cargo and appears that is just the Landing ship

Autonomous or directly crewed, that is really your call, whatever you think is better, or possibly both? The main thing I'm asking if you could implement is placeable turrets so that I can put them on other ships.

I have a request, could you add the Naval guns, MK45, Bushmaster, ect. as placeable turrets? Possibly as autonomous? I would love to put these on other ships/vehicles and have some gun with them!
I have searched far and wide but I cannon find ANY mod that adds naval guns as turrets minus the on Bohimia included, but that is really only an indirect fire weapon.

You have to use animateSource to do it via init, not "animate". Use the virtual garage(right click, bottom option) and you can do it much easier, there's a toggle there.

ah, i just tested it, on the destroyer, the chopper goes through , on the container ship, you can land, im looking forward for something like this, to train pilots, and the logistic aspect of course.

It generally works ok-ish. I've seen behavior where the destroyer's helipad becomes nonsolid to helicopters if it's completely still, and if you attach a helicopter while the engine is on it'll stay "on" even if you turn it off, but you can land a helicopter on the destroyer's helipad and use the awkwardly-placed action on the helipad to attach the helicopter there so it doesn't blow up randomly.

The landing ship is too small to really land on, and the big container ship doesn't have any helper script to do so.

If you can run a script on it(eden editor, zeus with mods, etc) you can use forceFlagTexture and set it to "" to disable them. https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/forceFlagTexture
I didn't make a flagless variant specifically.

The "animate" command just calls a single model "animation", which is more like a single step. You need to use "animateSource " instead, which will animate the doors as well.
