planes land and go to that stand because its the close to the runway track, but despawn because they wont load from it back to fly, instead they load and depart from other stands that are closer to the runways, and you dont see planes arriving from those stands, only departing, because they are a smaller path to take off, while the one on the example you put in video has a smaller path for arrivals, and why you only get planes arriving and unloading on it.
can be wrong, but i think most airport issues happen due this game mechanic, it will always choose the shorter path for any transport.
Thats how the game operates. All cargo vehicles enter the city with cargo, will head for a cargo terminal or factory and deliver cargo. Sometimes all cargo is unload most of the time it is not and it drives around 'delivering' all cargo. Once its at zero it despawns.
New Cargo aircraft will either spawn at a cargo terminal/extractor/warehouse and will either leave the city or go around the city delivering cargo.
There is no workaround to this afaik.
