I miss riding this, I really liked it. But yeahhhhh the line was so long haha. I didn't know somebody died while riding it :(

I can't visit Kings Island right now cause I live out of state and Coronavirus is still around, but I can visit KI virtually! And visiting virtually lets me ride past rides that aren't around any more.

Firehawk was fun, but boy was it a cursed ride. Even when it was working fine, the capacity was awful and the line never moved. I'm glad we got to ride it, but I'm also glad we got something much better and more maintenance-friendly in it's place.

Cincinnati girl here. I used to work for King's Island and I always thought Firehawk was fun until someone died on it while I was working there. To be fair, the gentleman had a heart condition and ignored the warning, but it was still a difficult experience for all involved (especially the poor 15 and 16 year olds working the ride that day). Firehawk was a fun ride while it lasted and King's Island has great things planned for the future. But I wish everybody would pay attention to safety warnings for rides.
