P.S. Photos taken on location at Hammaneggs 'A very British Layout'

Not long after the post WWII nationalisation of the railways under the banner of 'British Railways', the decision was taken to allow each region to adopt its own livery. The Great Western Railway immediately reverted to its popular pre-war livery of Chocolate and Cream with gold lining and lettering. This is a set of three Mk1 carriages in the 'new' GWR livery.
