Actually it does - in respect of magic and artillery. Any changes of the size of the pack with same unit numbers will influence the incoming damage

it will work for all of the units up until the date this was updated, newer units will be vanilla formations

Is the launcher issue fixed for you? I'd love to see this updated so that I can stop cringing at the utter lack of discipline amongst my front-line infantry.

Brutal battles actually changes more of the games balance in other ways too. This is more stand alone for SFO or Radious players

New Warhammer auto update, have not bought the new DLC yet, and 48 of my 58 mods are now out of date including this one!!! Crash at loading screen.

like the idea but seeing how arty heavy the ai is i cant see my self using this mod as my units will get ripped apart standing so close to gether

@emcdunna A suggestion I have is reverting changes on artillery units, it can be troublesome on the ones with a flat firing arc like cannons and organ guns.

Can you make it so we can increase the width of high model count units further? Like when you right click and drag the unit out, with Skavenslaves, Clanrats, Zombies, etc, they are unable to widen to an appropriate width with this mod enabled.

A question, tho. Is it possible for you to set the maximal width like in this mod (https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1165733870&searchtext=long+line) ? It's "In table '_kv_rules' value 'unit_max_drag_width' has been changed from '42' to '40075700'."

So I could use the dense formation and the max width together :D

hey guys, i think i did miss 1 unit here and I can't figure out which one. Let me know if you see any units that stand out. It would probably be related to the new DLC race the vampire coast (which I don't own so I can't test)

Like i said before, units like beastmen gors, wardancers, slayers, etc. that in vanilla are very spread out are still going to be spread out.

Just not quite as much.

I modified every unit to be tighter by 25%. Spread out units are just 25% less spread out.

Some wood elf units still look a bit non ranked up, any idea why? I'm talking about war dancers and woodscouts etc (if thats their name)

You can't do anything at all about unit formations on walls. Its hardcoded to be that way.

Hey there, I don't know if this is either a glitch or intended but units on the walls don't actually stay in 'rank and file'. I don't know if you can't either fix this or maybe you can't change anything related to units on the wall. Perhaps you even wanted them to stay like that. Anyways thanks for this awesome yet simple mod. I'll give it a BIG thumbs up and a favorite ( Btw I RARELY favorite any mods so that means your mod is really great). Have a nice day.

Zombies, gors, and other spread out units are going to still be that way. Just less so.

Everyone got pushed in by 25% of what they were before. They arent all like the spacings you see in the pictures.

May you let some units spreaded? Like zombies or skaven slaves in an other version? It would be plausible as they are more of a horde and it's cool to have those two looks. But great mod for my swordsmen finnaly!

@emcdunna I tested your mod with Cataph's Closer to Tabletop and his faction mods and your unit spacing changes work with them for me.

Maybe cataph made his own unit spacings. As fat as i know, no one does that because there's plenty of default ones to use.

If he made his own then it wouldnt work for those units
