I would genuinely pay you for a Worgen race mod.

I really appreciate that this mod adds a furry race (or feathered, I suppose) to Kenshi. I was wondering if we might see any other furry mods in the future? Like one for dragons or wolves or some other common species in the furry fandom.
Skorados 27. feb. 2022 kl. 14:39
this model has cuts that are see through (need to flip the normals outside not inside) and to show on both sides duplicate it and flip it inside.

the tail feather isnt fully there.

i hope for this to be fixed one day.
Varinki 21. feb. 2022 kl. 15:15
@No,Hell NO They have never been able to equip foot, head and shirt slot equipment.
Skorados 21. feb. 2022 kl. 10:46

can they fly
Vatheron 26. okt. 2021 kl. 15:59
Something tells me the Community Part map is incompatible with this race. Their arms and waist look like a lot of torn opening with that mod on.
York the Gnoll 5. okt. 2021 kl. 10:28
There is a way at all to sort of fix the clipping it can have with leg armour as an example?

As that seems to be one of the major problems that it has but over all I do love that you placed them into the game and I'm looking forward to playing an entire play through as one, Perhaps having it fit like similar to characters with a prosthetic leg or legs?
stranger 22. aug. 2021 kl. 22:03
I have seen one around the hub, the detail is fantastic, I think for a first try at modding these out do most I have seen. I dont know if you created the model or borrowed it but they look very highly detailed in the game.
Kai 21. juni 2021 kl. 1:26
They should have a bonus to Martial Arts
HyphenTorpedo 12. juni 2021 kl. 15:59
@Darth scroll down through the comments to about page 5, me and Varinki had a discussion about how to get them to appear in more places. You have to go through the Forgotten Construction Set, but it's actually pretty easy to use and simple too.
Tanyon 12. juni 2021 kl. 15:10
Hey guys. I know this has been mentioned but usually I have these guys in my base group but this time I started with a different arrangement and I can't find these guys anywhere. I tried all Waystations, all Shek Cities, worlds end, flotsom/cannibal cities. I saw two as "drifters" in a merc group but I couldn't talk to them. Is there a location where they are known to spawn? Thanks.

Oooh nice! I also use a cat race mod which suffers from the same feet-melty problem. That may enable me to put one of those kitties back in the roster. I think I relegated them to farmers, cooks and brewers.

On a side note, I was playing earlier in the day and came across my first recruitable Arakkoa, in Clownsteady of all places.... I never added them to the UC faction, so they are more rare in those cities from what I am seeing.

Once I make the change to inoculate the cats and birds, I'll probably still keep them in gear that gives acid resist just to keep myself a bit more honest. One thing I highly recommend is one of the mods that makes hats for the belt slot. The Arakkoa look pretty cool while sporting an ashland hat.
HyphenTorpedo 19. nov. 2020 kl. 0:19
Thanks for that Varinki, I might end up doing that myself. The lore reason could be that their feathers and leathery feet are tough enough to resist the acid, which might help with RP for others
Varinki 18. nov. 2020 kl. 22:01
Here is a screenshot on how to do it. You have to do it for all five colours.

Varinki 18. nov. 2020 kl. 21:53
I got around that by making them acid proof in FCS. So mine aren't bothered by the acid anymore.
Kaelroth 18. nov. 2020 kl. 21:39
Actually, I just started a new game and made a few Arakkoa, then imported the platoons from my old game into it. Now I have all the recruits I need. They look pretty cool and their portraits are very distinctive.

It's a shame that there's no way to protect their legs from acid though. I tend to wander through the Black Desert pretty frequently which is no good for biological races that can't wear boots (aside from acid-immune hivers of course).

It will probably mean that the Arakkoa won't be coming with my questing team very often. I just don't see this species as one that would look correct with robotic limbs. It would make for an interesting story though, heh. Still a great mod all the same.
HyphenTorpedo 18. nov. 2020 kl. 4:28
You're welcome! You can also import your save and it'll randomise the recruits at bars and such. It's not a guaranteed way to get Arakkoa but I've done it and it works
Kaelroth 17. nov. 2020 kl. 18:03
Thanks both of you for the responses! I initially added them to both Drifters and Tech Hunters factions so they have a pretty good presence in the Waystations.

I will keep looking and hopefully find one willing to hire, but I may just start a new game and import one into my party. Then at least I can be sure I like the color.
HyphenTorpedo 17. nov. 2020 kl. 3:10
@Kaelroth Sometimes it's tricky to find them. I added Arakkoa to a bunch of different factions, with them popping up primarily in United Cities as guards as well as citizens, and also with Tech Hunters and Machinists as Varinki said.

Having them as slaves, especially within groups like the Holy Nation, can help in recruiting them if you're planning on going to war with them, but of course it's only a certain chance they'll join.
Varinki 16. nov. 2020 kl. 22:27
@Kaelroth.

I have been able to recruit a Arakkoa at one of the Waystations before. I've only ever done it once so I'm not sure if it was a one off thing or not. Try the Waystation east of the hub that's where I found him.

To be honest I didn't know what I was doing when I did it. All I did was look at other files and mods and then attempted to replicated what they did. I think I have them in Drifters, Anti Slavers and maybe Tech Hunters/Machinists.
It worked first time and I never really looked at it again after that.
Kaelroth 16. nov. 2020 kl. 4:12
@Varinki Out of curiosity, does your method enable the possibility to permanently recruit them like the solo drifter bar recruits, or does it just potentially put them in the hireable Mercenary groups?

I followed your instructions for adding them and they are pleasantly populating several towns, but I have yet to be able to talk with any of them (from the drifter faction) about joining my merry little band of heavily armed shock troopers. I've encountered them in the bars of several different towns but none of them will give me the time of day.

I was wondering if I needed to make an additional change to the drifter faction in order to enable them for recruitment, or do I just need to start a new game as an arakkoa character (or perhaps make him and then import him into a different game). Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers.

@OlympusGaming See one of my earlier comments on how to get them to appear in the wild.

Cant seem to find them on any of the Starts.
MoonlitShade 21. apr. 2020 kl. 6:36
Definitely awesome quality-wise, and a great idea in theory, but in practice the wings definitely make it fall short. The wings are problematic and don't look great with most animations. Any chance we could get a wing-less version? Then, it'd be perfect.
HyphenTorpedo 14. apr. 2020 kl. 17:53
Lizards would totally be cool. Fit in great with having the Arakkoa in the game as well
Stumack 14. apr. 2020 kl. 15:18
This looks great.
You wanna make Lizardfolk next maybe ^^
(Just assuming you gonna do a great job with them too)

Looks neat but the wings are a bit much.

Shrike 14. jan. 2020 kl. 13:16
This is cool but any chance we could get a version with no wings? They're very ridiculous especially when running.
Sarril 10. jan. 2020 kl. 1:10
Very, very cool and well-done race tho, big thumbs up.
