I also am having the problem with not being able to tell them to pick up items that Marianojoey was having. I removed my mods until I found this one as the cause. Is there any word on an update?

Sadly, I must confess myself as corrected. Even if the mod works and the people in the colony wont pick up food to carry with themselves (as intended), they seem unable to pick up other things by order (as if you try to tell them to pick something up, you wont even get the option to do so). It seems there is some tinkering in the mod to make everything work as intended. :/

Thanks @Likeafox, but seriously, the only thing the mod nees as far as I can see is to change the file that makes it look like it's for 1.4, because it works. :)

Hi everyone. I haven't been able to test the mod with the new version yet, but others have and I haven't heard complaints yet, take from that what you will. P.S. I am guessing I will be able to officially add support for 1.4 in a week or so.

Even if the mod works as intended in 1.4, it would be awesome to have it updated, at least to remove the "caution" tag. :)

I did try that mod but stoped working, something to do with common sense witch is a much needed mod.

I think i tried using the mod you mentioned and it didn't work, until i found this mod which works.

I also tried 3-4 different mods, which all didn't work. Probably incompatible with some mod i run, which isnt mentioned.

Could you add an option to have food equipping be disabled by default?

It would be interesting to see a food mod that has colonists pack extra food so they stop walking back to base to restock so often.

Fuck I was thinking equipting a corn as weapon when I saw the title.

@Akıncı @Petromotion @Daniel_USA setting what kind of food a colonist will use is better suited to "Food Policies" and so is out of the scope of this mod. However I regonize the demand for making packed lunches not suck, so I have added a new option in the options menu just for you guys... :)

It's called "Colonists disallowed from equipping food may still equip "packed lunch"-type food"

can you add an option for which meal will be taken? so we can set the packed lunches and no more debuff

Does it remember the type of food? Like always using the packed lunches to not have the debuff/

this might make "packed lunches" actually viable if you can explicitely tell them to equip that type of food.
