sorry, just to understand this mod: it doesnt matter what map i play, as long as i have this mod installed, the events relating to this will trigger, like vampires and such? or do i have to play a specific map?

love this mod
all of my colonists huddling around an ankh ward hiding from vampires is scary, yet fun, since you dont know if any of them will get bit
just hoping for a way to cure (even temporarily) wighting, since that can really screw up an early colony if you dont have ancient potions on hand

In the https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1846248864 we got this small fixes for this mod:
Fixed zombies and vampires biting and plaguing everything that had health (e.g. doors) which would throw errors
Made clerics imune to their plague.

Myself and afew of my friends love the difficulty curve, never mind the WaAabulance and keep up the good work. wish the event lasted longer with more waves, but aside from that its great fun! (an yes people we DO play this mod on hardcore)

Mod way too hard when just starting a town. first wave spawned not even day 10 and barely set up the foundation of the town before we were wiped off the map.

day 10 and 10 enemies spawn, some of them had 1000hp and all others with 250hp super ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mod

PS: The problem with early unfair attacks could be solved, if the attackers would be spawned much further away from the settlement, so the player has a chance to collect all his civilians.

Placing wards is not a 100 percent solution. You only can survive then, if you have all necessary near it. Trappers and other workers going out to collect something are dead in the moment the event triggers. Swishos said it....as long as you can´t give the little people a command to stay in a certain area, this mod´s structure isn´t quite a good idea. It just don´t fit to the game´s structure.

Build a wall with a mazey entrance. Get as many pumpkin wards, or ankh wards as you can, and put them around inside borders of your wall and maze. Have a herbalist craft the curing potions.

the 3rd night zombies attacked me and my friends village. Killed us all right away.. The 2 poor guards and the workers stood no chance. Hitting the zombies with their hammers and their saws, they tried their best but died................ Rip that world instantly

ya bin playing but keep getign whiped :( i looked into some filles and chnaged the plage claw down to .1 % havent gone to check the infection chance

@Lisa Chan you can only cure them when you have the new potion it adds into the game. Once they become a wight they cannot be cured. I think it works with ACE because i've had no problems ^^

Wards deal some damage to nearby undead over time. But yeah, they should spawn somewhere in the corner of the map instead of rising right next to your townsfolk.

I like the general idea of the mod, but I think it could've been a little different from now. :LizzyD1:

Yea, unsubbing from this crap, vampires spawn inside buildings and can't be stopped. turn everyone into mindless wrights and then sod off leaving game unplayable. the cross thing thats says it wards against them does nothing.

-Zombies(Vampires) appear after sunset(22:00), and disapper sunrise(6:00). Maybe you can escape from your village temporary, and wait until the morning...

-Raise a herbalist skills so that you can change its class to cleric; as SOON as you can. Don't forget to fill in someone to herbalist too.

As I played, and managed to defeat first several waves, I'd like to give some tips from my experience.

-If you feel that hearthlings become zombies too quick(3 hours by default), you can change the duration from mod files. The buff is located in "workshop/content/data/buffs/plagued/plagued.json". You can edit by text editor.

-There is no way to recover your villagers once they're completely infected. Therefore, you have to craft "Ancient Healing Tonic" and use before they're doomed. Make it in daytime; it's almost impossible to prepare after raids get started.

-Zombies(Vampires) are very strong at this time. Probably you can't face them directly as your defense systems are not ready yet, in terms of people and equipments.
However, the trader sells the item which damage foes. It affects all undeads surrounding. Purchase, and put it around your village.

The only thing I'd ask for is a cure for undead or some kind of item or blessing that makes you immune to the sickness from one of the classes. It gets very annoying when you lose a max level defender to a single attack from a zombie.

i have some colonists in my game both defenders and lost due to the vamp spawn on day 3. and is now a mindless colo. is there a way to have be fixed or cured or something cause its kinda annoying to where i lost my main defense and cant do anything but hope more people come by with either same or better stats.

Preventable Disaster : 3/10

This probably has a great follow up of Halloween content just like the ones before. Although 8 Zombies showing up a couple of nights in is just careless. Easily a fixable issue if playtesting has been involved.

@Relyss The Brazier has been fixed. I can not craft the large fence or the snall fence. So that does not seem to be fixed for me.

The problem with the cobblestone fence was fixed last week. The name might not be identical in the recipe, but try crafting the 'large' one.

I cannot craft the fences. It says it need Cobblestone walls. But one can only craft Cobblestone fence large or short
