Life happens dude, it was and is a great mod and honestly I personally appreciate the fact that you came back at all and let us know so really, thank you for that and thank you for having made this mod to begin with.

Sorry to everyone whom expected support for the mod. I really should have made a statement of discontinued support, instead of allowing for what feel years of neglect. Just today I learned of the 1.1 update, having not touched the game in ages. Don't get me wrong, Rimworld is a great game, and I want to be able to get back into.

But I can't promise to keep More Furniture in working order, ergo I won't be making anymore official updates to. All of you guys are free to edit or reuse MF, always have/will be. Thanks to @wofl for putting together a updated and balanced version, I've linked your version.

Again sorry for my abandoning of More Furniture.

@wofl - you are not likely going to get permission, more likely just ignored. just upload and 'delete upon original authors request' (it's easier to get forgiveness than permission :)

I agree with bappy here. Just post it and see what happens.
Worst case scenario, the author contacts you, is upset by the unofficial update, and decides to take the time to update the actual mod instead.

An unofficial update is absolutely necessary. It most likely won't work with 1.1, and the author has definitely abandoned this mod. The author hasn't even made a post in the comments since Nov 2 2018!

i tried and i did have problems, loaded the mod and crashed the home screen menu (no buttons)

@SalzStange - Why should it be deleted? I states absolutly clear that it is for 1.0. So it is not broken or old, there is just no 1.1 Version!

@chanw4 thank you very much, I found that file, but is wasn't sure how to replace the fault. Next best thing would have been to not use this mod. Author should realy implement your solution

I managed to fix a duplicate xml error by tweaking my load order. I know I saw somebody else mention it, figured I would mention it worked for me as well.

To fix the issues with duplicate XML, edit ..\294100\1544944259\Patches\Patches.xml, search for SimpleReseachBench and replace the patchoperationadd with the following. The issue is the patch created in more furniture add the xml without checking if the tag is already created by another mod patch.

Dressers and end tables' comfort bonus doesn't work with RealBeds' single beds or bedrolls. It only seems to work with the double beds.
