@House Karling. The chance is very high but I can't remember exact numbers.

The mod started out as a personal fix and is balanced around mods that let you field larger forces. I got tired of micro managing food and this was a simple/realistic fix. The idea being that if you're already wiping patrols with ease food is probably just a chore at that point.

If you are running a similar game it might fit. If you're running a smaller scale game it may or may not fit, I haven't tried. Either way the mod should be removable mid game with no issues.

How common is it to encounter an NPC with food with this mod? I like the idea, but I worry that it will make food too prevalent.

or maybe its town patrols bit in doubt on the top of my head.

@Pwnicus Correct, hungry bandits do not carry any food.

But still not Hungry Bandits right? Otherwise they'd be ...Sated Bandits?

@Perichondrium Glad I'm not the only one who thinks it wwould make the game more interesting.
I'm looking at something like what you described but I'm out of my depth and it's unlikely anything will come of it.
However I will make sure to post it if i succeed!

I have been looking for mod similiar to this one to make food a goal for NPC's so it doesn't seem the player character is the only one fighting for their life because of starvation or malnutrition. If it is even possible to do it is my only wish for this to be added to Kenshi. I may attempt this myself but I would like you to try since I see you have already created a mod yourself and hold a similiar image of what would make the game better.
