I love rimcuisine, but I'd like to make other alcoholic drinks, the only mods I found that do this well are VGP, not the VGP core mod but just the seperate one with only the alcohol added, is this compatible with rim cuisine? if not, could you add extra alcoholic drinks to rimcuisine? thanks :)

I can't make Lavish Meal for whatever reason. I have raw meat, raw grain (wheat), raw vegetable (potatoes) and raw fruits (figs) but it says it don't have the material. Odd enough, sometimes it does make lavish meal with other ingredients I'm not farming, but I don't know each. Help... :v

at a drug station, you can make cigarettes and cigars. cigars are the higher quality one, but require more material and produce less. cigars have the higher value for the time you spend, but cigarettes have more money per tobacco spent.

In RC2 I did indeed make sure everything has its own unique identifier. RC1 has some things like that, but not everything - which is an issue.

hi, im still new to modding, but maybe the easiest thing is to just make all your items have a unique internal identifier?

that way, it never (in theory) conflicts with another mods identifier, and then you (or others) could include patches or extra recipes which simply convert 1 banana from 1 mod into another :)

I keep hearing something similar issues Senpai, I'm not entirely sure the cause of it. Hopefully we won't have the same issue in RC2 since I'm being careful to make everything compatible with other mods to the best of my ability.

@Murderwings: All the alcohol. Well, about 20 types, including distilled spirits. The brewing mod was in the works for RimCuisine before I started working on RimCuisine 2 (not 2.0, 2. Complete remake.)

Whiskey and Sake are both included too. Basically all the major ones you can think of, plus I recently added Grog, Kumis, Arrack, and Everclear (called Rectified Spirits in-game).

Would RimCuisine 2.0 have the ability to brew alcohol? I've always felt Rimcuisine handled many aspect of farming (bee's hive, fruit tree, preservation,...) and drugs (tobacco,shroom,...) better than VGP except the ability to make whisky and sake. The range of products can be sourced from RimCuisine's is astronomical, even only count the simple and single-ingredient one.

yeah its always cool when mods can be added with other mods, (and they dont conflict), even if there is a bit of duplication in terms of item names, but if they are unique, they can still be used.

and then in the future, someone can always add some way to let the 2 duplicates be converted or used somehow :)

@Pgames-Food Remake plays nicely with VGP, but doesn't merge its new stuff yet. After release I'm going to see if I have the patience to make them not only play nicely, but actually function properly together - but the intention is that RimCuisine 2 is a standalone mod in place of VGP in the long run.

@SturmTiger Some crops are growable in the hydroponics bay - those that can be grown in there completely ignore the biome-specific stuff. This is intentional, so you can have a 'greenhouse' for exotic crops using hydroponics.

there are several mods that require your mod (and they all look really cool), but i currently already have vgp and invested in research and crops etc that im not in a position to be able to add all this lovely stuff yet

RimCuisine 2 will require a new game when its out - its a complete remake of RimCuisine and won't be a simple update to this one.
