ya the biggest (or atleast very fast and autoamted) way to get a wallpaper flagged as inapproprate is the thumbnail. one of the rules for uploading is that the thumbnail must be approprate and or censored, no matter the maturity rating of the wallpaper.

Posts are flagged by the wallpaper engine bot and removed consequently. Thus there might have been a mistake. As long as it did not contain sexual acts, semen, loli hentai you should send a support ticket.

it could depend on the content of the images you used, nudity by itself isnt against the rules. if your images had any form of sexuality it may have broken a rule but im not sure.

i make the sfw first normally, then duplicate the project file and sawp the texture for the character. If you go into your duplicated project file and open the project.json file you can delete the workshop id line and the comma at the end of the visibility line and save it. then ittl show up as its own project and be able to upload instead of update
