I respect the attempt, but the original maps are much more fun to play than these. Feels more like a light inspiration rather than a recreation attempt.

If any of you are curious, check out the Keen Halloween maps on Sven Coop (the game is free on Steam but you'll have to google and download the maps manually). They're fun to play, especially with friends.

There's hardly any point of turning it into an addon, and even if I wanted to I'm not experienced with modelling

If you can do it though, you can give it a shot :)

This is just a Sven Coop map in the Source Engine.

Not as scary as the first, but I really enjoyed it. It was very fun collecting all the coins

why flashlight don't work

Make it fun to play, not a chore to finish. Also, the story is nonexistant, yet you keep trying to make it seem important. Either make one, or don't. Also, use some voice acting instead of text. For that, I'd be happy to help. All in all, it was a good idea, but came off as more of a proof of concept rather than a finished product. Maybe you could eventually compile all your episodes into one map, and remaster them to be better, as well as having voice acting and more well placed secrets.

This map, while a vast improvement to the first one, was still pretty lame. The whole purpose of a horror game is to strip you of your power and make you feel small. When the enemies gow down to 2 crowbar smacks, it's not scary. The jumpscares are not gppd, there's no post-completion content that's worthwhile, and the map itself was confusing. I could never find the next objective, and had to noclip my way into certain areas. Have more secret areas. Have a few push walls, some areas that open up if you shoot them.

While I'm partially glad 2 people remember the keen halloween maps from sven coop, but mostly I'm not and I'm sorry that you didn't have a good experience with my attempted 'recreation' of KH into source.

Empty, dull and very unrewarding prizes. It feels like an alpha-stage version of Keen Halloween 2 or 3 with missing elements. The ending was some of the worst and haphazard things I've seen, it made no sense to what was going on or gave any kind of build up towards a story.

Both maps was just a total ripoff of the KeenHalloween map from SvenCoop and you didnt state it anywhere except one note in the first map, It was just total plagarism and really empty. The maps fell short and really dissapointing.
