This the first race mod I ever got back in like 2017, really neat and still very unique :)

Please if you could, update the leeani when you get the chance <3
I very much prefer the Leeani over other fox races, they are aesthetically please to me. I enjoy the little lore bits and the starts of their campaigns. I stay on 1.3 just to keep playing with them, I don't own any of the DLC.

Thank You for the mod, even tho you no longer update it, you did put in alot of work in it, if it one day does get updated thatd be great, if not its still appreciated

Mostly working on Pawnmorpher mod. This mod is outdated technically, conceptually and visually, and needs a lot of rework. Maybe one day would find some inspiration for it.

Vulpine Race Pack - simpler but generally close to this
both are proper anthros; they don't have much lore or own items but it is not necessarily bad thing

Like, okay, the dragonian mod is a prime example of why I don't like most Rimworld races. They're just uwu KAWAII MAID GIRL but with horns. 100% not my thing, but it seems like that's the dominant taste among other Rimworld players. I get it, I get why people would like that -- it's the same reason why I like predatory, scary-looking dragon men, but I just want something for my tastes as well.

Can you point me in the direction of that? I need my fox men, but all of the race mods that I can find are
- poorly written
- not focused around anthros (cat ears and a tail != an anthro)
- just a reskin of default humans
- low-effort
- aesthetically displeasing

So if you have any advice on how to get around all of that, please let me know. I always play with a colony of foxes, and I just can't find an adequate substitute without the Leeani.

It is seriously outdated in many way by now. Graphical design, technical implementation, and even concept. I don't really see a point in keeping this updated, even if it has a very large nostalgic value to me. You can make medieval fox people using other mods and even just vanilla - three DLCs can cover most of their defining things.

Seems like it's broken.

I'm going to keep supporting my git version (I can't update workshop version, only original author can), but artwork is not something I would change.

If you are looking for a replacement fox race with better artwork I'd suggest ferian. There are also vulpes but they are hell op.

Or you can go for pawnmorpher and make foxmorphs from humans.

They are originally from some other setting, whus their inconsistency between tech level and story (they are knowledge collectors but low tech - it made sense there but not on the rim). I want to split them into two faction (traditionalists with lowish industrial tech and ultratech group) but that is going slow.

I don't think spreadsheet exists. They are 10% smaller than humans, have 20% less hp, move 20% faster, have life expectancy 60 years, mine 20% slower, have 25% increased psychic sensitivity, have massively reduced trap spring chance, comfortable with cold (up to -7°C), have 20% minig speed penalty, can eat raw food without mood debuff, don't care about sleeping on ground and outside, don't care if they are naked, have increased chance of being beautiful, sanguine, kind, transhumanist, bisexual, nimble, night owl, nudist. Almost never are body purists, rarely asexual, tough or brawler.

Out of curiosity, is there any lore behind this? Maybe someone wanted to do an experiment with the development of civilization on a planet, so they seeded it with some hybrid creatures that weren't legally considered people (a la Beta Humanoids mod) and watched from orbit to see how their civilization developed?

Also, where can you find a list of how the Leeani stats are different than that of the base humans in Rimworld?

I'm planning to finish it but not sure when.

Hiya. I'm getting some red errors thrown upon reaching the main screen that I've tracked by elimination to this mod. One of them is to do with the Ferian, Fennex, and Frijjid races. They are marked as races the Leeani aren't xenophobic towards but if those mods aren't in use it throws an error upon failing to find them. Is there a way you can get it to ignore those of the mods aren't loaded?

Another is an error related to the ThoughtDef NonProsthophileHasAddedBodyParts. I'd guess the ThougthDef name has updated, as Prosthophiles are Transhumanists now?

I can provide a log if that would be helpful.

I can't find the post that said how too do this, so hopefully this will work.
Go to the folder where you have Rimworld and open up, Data > Royalty >Defs > FactionDefs
you should see a file called Faction_Empire

First make a backup of it just in case, then open it with something like Notepad.
Scroll down until you see the line
<permanentEnemyToEveryoneExcept>

underneath it add
<li>LeeaniPlayerColony</li>
<li>LeeaniPlayerColonyTribal</li>
<li>LeeaniHold</li>

With any luck they should no longer start off permanently hostile to you.

Is anyone else still having trouble with the fallen empire faction bug? Always 100% hostile and no way to make them happy again. May have to abandon this mod if it's going to remain this way.

Since HAR updated again this model shows red notifications at the start of the game. I really like this mod. Is there a chance of fixing it?

Hey, you guys forgot to switch the faction tags. The royalty faction got a new tag in the update, making it hostile to all mod factions that don't adjust it.

it looks like the empire faction is permanently hostile to all custom factions now, does anyone know how to change this?
