I have one note about the recipe though: If you go on YouTube and look up torch making, you'll see that "wire" is a key component. It holds the torch together as it burns. Without it the cloth would burn off.
I feel the recipe should be:
- Tree Branch / Plank
- Ripped Sheet / Rope
+ Wire
+ Bourbon / Gas ( extra realism alt)
No, you cants use the torch as a weapon but you can hold the torch while using a weapon.
And no it does not warm you up.
I can assure you 1000% that the mod is working in 41.73 as I play daily with it myself...
If you added the mod in the middle of a play through you have to enable the mod for that specific save file and not in the main menu.
Out of curiosity, do I have to extinguish the torch, or is it totally safe to be left "lit" in my bag/pocket or on the floor?
Because the item ID changed you will lose all torches when updating...
I did not manage to make it placeable yet...
