If there still is a problem, it might be because the game has been released after I made this mod, so something might have changed, but it's worth a try without the other mod. Let me know how it goes if you have the time!

It takes 8 different things to build the table, and the AI cores themselves take the robotics components and electricals.
I haven't updated the mod after release though, which I think made engineering research a lot more rare that it originally was. But, the comment did state that you need 8 different things to build the table. Until I get to check the balancing, I suggest you import and find those items again.
Spent probably 25 hours real time hunting down what I needed just to build the table, 50 ancient research books, 10 engineering research items... then go to build the table and realize all those power cores I sold off thinking they were useless were actually going to be necessary to build the table... spent a good amount of time looking for a tech lab I hadn't raided yet to find the 3 I needed to finish off my table.
After building the table it now appears that you need copper plates and something like 10 Engineering Researches. ER's have been just as hard to find as AI cores and I find it unlikely that I'll be able to muster up the motivation to try to find 9 more ER's just to finish off 1 AI core, considering how many ruins I've already cleared.
I want my 25 hours and 10 ER's back.... gutted.
