[WOTC] Iridar's Underbarrel Attachments

Asking here if anyone has had trouble with the underbarrel flamethrower, I've put it on a weapon but can't fire it even when I bring extra tanks. Anyone else experience this or know how to fix it? It's on a modded class.

If it's not in the config, you can change action cost of abilities with Ability Editor mod.

Is there any way to remove the action cost of reloading the UB grenade launcher in the ini files? Shooting it working with salvo is nice and all, but the lack of being able to use it twice in 1 turn like the regular secondary grenade launcher is kind of a bummer for a class i"m trying to create.

Underbarrel attachments for Laserguns?
I am using Long War Pack Laserguns for Wotc unofficial and your underbarrel attachments are invisible, but they are working. Is there patch or companion mod for underbarrel attachments for these laserguns just like for coilguns?

It would be pretty challenging, but theoretically possible. I'm definitely not doing that, though.

Is it possible if you or someone else can make a patch so that the underbarrel weapons can use perks like the sawed off shotgun perks, the gauntlet fire perks and the other fire perk form other modder and the grenade perks.

Does having the under barrel GL disable the regular grenade launchers? My sappers have GLs and Underbarrel launchers and its not letting me launch the regular grenades

What caught my attencion is that, even without a GL on secondary weapon, only granade on another slot, there is the option of launch the granade with launcher on tactical, But the Area of effect shows kind transparent, and theres no damage. Do you think if I post my AML profile on Discord, people will be able to help me ? Thank you

Went on a mission wuth UBGL attachment, extra UBGL ammo on a slot and magnet granade on another slot. It shoes an option to lauch granade as if I was equiped with Granade Launcher ( I wasnt ). Also, when launching the granade with this option, Theres no damage. Is it normal behavior or I ran into a messy compatibility mod problem ?

Depends on how the perk is set up, can't say. If it does, you should see it in the targeting preview.

I don't understand what you're asking. If you're asking whether it's possible to launch underbarrel grenades from the wrist-mounted heavy weapon, then no.

Sweet! I'm going to try it in my current campaign as soon as I find all the parts I need. But I just realized a small flaw in my plan in that fully equipped with a shield, UBGL, and 4 grenades is a total of -7 mobility in LWOTC. I know I can edit the mobility penalty but I don't want to cheat too much. So maybe not really a viable class but it will look cool!

Has anyone tried building a Grenadier that uses an UBGL and a ballistic shield? It might go very well with Proficiency classes as they have perks that add onto the utility of grenades, like the one that also makes any damaging grenade also disorient. I want to try it and create a lil mini SPARK lol.

Love this mod. However, is there a way to make the UBGL function like the regular grenade launcher (or a nerfed one)? I would like to use it with a custom RPGO soldier I made that already needs 2 other weapons.

Sorry, but I don't have time to walk through everyone who asks. Open the config files and try to figure it out, it's not that complicated, you just add weapon template names into the list. Useful links:

Fortress psionic skill doesn't seem to provide immunity from underbarrel grenade launchers (and possibly also flamethrowers). I checked it on Sectoid Abjurer (from another mod, who has fortress perk).

Fire_UBGL_Conv
Fire_UBGL_Mag
Fire_UBGL_Beam

There's no "FF_" prefix.

I'm running this mod with your grenade scatter one. Currently, the grenades from this mod's underbarrel launcher isn't getting any scatter. I tried adding the ability tied to launching the underbarrel grenades (FF_Fire_UBGL_Conv, for example) into the appropriate ini, but it's still not working. Is there any advice you can give?

Hey Iridar, some testing reveals that UBGLs are failing to benefit from Volatile Mix's +2dmg, despite your documentation saying you've manually adjusted for it to work, and all the scripts to that effect that I've found within the mod.

I've tested it just loading only this mod + reqs (and Skirmish+ to make it faster), ini purge and all, and while the damage preview does show the +2dmg, it fails to inflict it on enemies.

I understand not wanting to touch an old mod, but could you confirm whether it works for you or not? I want to make sure it's something else wrong on my end.
