How can a guy build an underground farm on a tiny island archipeligo while fishing from a bridge without you around?
Your are an amazing modder. Thanks for all you've done.
I've completed the Terraforming research, which clearly has an option in the research tree view of making some other terrain types from mud, among other things. I triple checked, the terraforming research is definitely absolutely completed - but none of the new ground types I'm supposed to be able to craft have appeared in the Terraform tab. I've checked all the other tabs too, can't find them anywhere. Any ideas? (I've also reloaded the order to make sure Fertile Fields was near the top, then loaded an earlier save and re-researched terraforming - still no dice.)
For instance, Sand squids from alpha animals produce "fertilized sand" when walking over regular sand, unfortunately, it does not seem like you can terraform it with any "marshy soil -> whatever".
Anyone encountered this and figured out how to fix it?
It already works, it's just that the terrain stuff isn't working because they haven't patched the job here. It's not trivial from my side, from their side it's as easy as adding the postfix to my job driver."
I think it's locked behind the Terraforming research.
I know there's a way to get piles of sand in the Terraforming menu at the start.
um............ok that's great....... but how do you get one or the other to begin with?
- dirt can be made from sand, clay and fertilizer at a crafting spot ✓
- clay and sand can be extracted from dirt ✓
so i can't get dirt without sand and clay to make it................ and i can't get sand and clay without having dirt to breakdown. anyone seeing a problem here?
and yes, you can make sand from stone chunks......... still need clay, need to have both.
............you can make a sandwich with parts of a sandwich, and conversely you can take a sandwich apart into its individual parts. well, that's great but unless i go to the grocery store i don't think a sandwich, or its parts are going to just appear out of no where.
