I admire your work its truly wonderful. I don't know why you do not do all the Romans though? The Gallic empire is not a Gallic empire at all we all know that ! They are a Romans, apart from Palmyra being a foreign 'city' it is Roman the Legions that fell under authority were Roman. I know your goal is to make the game better for us. So please continue

@Sol Invictus: Niedermörmter was used until 220 AD as far as my archeological knowledge goes. I did not check the mod yet for the rest of your concerns.
Glad to find an reenactor here tho :) I am one too around early 3rd century! You from which country?

I'm a Middle Imperial Roman (AD 193-284) reenactor and I can affirm that this is the most authentic 3rd century AD mod I've yet seen in terms of historically accurate soldiers appearance and uniforms.

Yet, Niedermörmter helmets should be removed as they were only used during the late Antonine and very early Severan period (you should replace them with other Niederbieber helmets and those medieval-looking squamata/hamata camails typical of the 3rd century AD like those seen on the Dura Europos synagogue)...
Same for the Horse Archers/Skirmishers that still have anachronistic Imperial Gallic and ridge helmets...
Would it also be possible to replace the anachronistic Spear Vigiles/Cohors shields with the models from Dura Europos that you used for Pikemen?
And Jovianii/Herculianii should be removed, as they do no exist prior to the Diocletian reforms.

Would you also consider expanding your work to other factions in a near future?

Tested with no other mods installed I am also able to see mulitple ability icons on legionaries and other roman foot troops like flying wedge and hollow square.

Is anybody else also getting the numerous ability icons showing up or is it just me?

I hope that you are just busy but doing well otherwise. Let me just say that this is a great mod (by far the best looking Empire Divided Roman reskin!), and I'll be using this whatever the case, but here's hoping that you'd have time for updates at some point should you come back. If you do, I hope that you could give Equites Scutarii actual Roman shields instead of the barbarian shields that CA pretty lazily recycled for them.

Is anyone else having the issue of Roman Legionaries on the battle map having TONS of ability icons? Square, wedge, and all sorts of other formations usually not in the game. I have no other mods running.

Please add this to the Grand Campaign as well

there is a problem in the mod, in both mods, 3rd century and the ones before that, when they go into battle the ai goes into triangle formation and goes back and forward into the fighting lines which makes it easy to win. i dont know if you have that problem?

Could you update the Horse Archers? At least give them third century tunics

Man...wish we could get these units for Attila. These assets looks swanky and even if they aren't historically accurate they would look so good that they'd fit in any of the Roman Rosters as a redesign.

This mod is exactly what I wanted, actually, much more. I love the Gladius like any good Roman, but this was the time for the Spatha to shine! And those units look beautiful.

I'd love something similar for the other Roman factions as well.
