You may be interested in the following mod:
Prisoners Should Fear Turrets

Escaping prisoners will now get fired upon by turrets. Rebelling slaves will also be shot, selectable in the options. Turrets can also give terror to slaves to keep supression levels.

If I remember right this used to work on prisoners? I haven't had the chance to use them on a prison break but they do not attack prisoners who are violent or raging.

Can you please tell me if this is possible?

I'm with Thundercraft and RankLord. I already use another tranquilizer mod (which includes a bean bag shotgun!) but I would still love to use this turret. Is it save to install without the gun mod?

why does it depend on the other mod. I hate having raiders use the guns. why can't it be standalone

This actually sounds like a cool line of turrets.

Turrets that don't damage eney pawns but gives multiple status hediffs like toxin, pain, or stun.

Especially stun.

This is a very cool sounding mod. However it makes much more sense to use the medium turret design and a slower rate of fire since shooting tranquilizer darts isn't like shooting a machine gun. I would also reduce trhe the amount it holds to 3 as it is an overpowered design.

Yes and no about the aesthetic turrets. He means cheap ones so you wouldn't have to spend as much for it. It also comes into play on raid points.

Please make a mod dubbed A E S T H E T I C turrent mod which adds turrents which, while they do nothing, you can place for cheap.
Basically base decoration.
I accidentally read Anesthetic as aesthetic, which lead me to say this.
