Fully functional in 2021. From top to bottom it says thoughtful design. While pretty much impossible to completely fail, which makes the Corp Mage ready-to-import self-save genuinely usable (a valuable token!), it's still worth playing beyond the novelty aspect because of the engaging tactical challenge of saving as many guards and basilisks as possible.

And for the fun of geeking Jake Armitage, of course.

Extremely short, but it's basically a tech demo, so what do you want?

Thanks. :) I think it won't work properly with the current version. Feel free to try it out and tell me which bugs you encountered though- there is a lot of scripting going on. :D

Great mini run. Had fun with it, being Lonestar. The guys in first room get geeked quickly but not hard to win.

A fun twist. Short but entertaining. Sometimes you just wanna play for a few minutes, and content like this fills that niche. Good work!

I also got the failure to complete bug upon killing all four runners. Jake and Scooter were killed in the basilisk room, Lady Z and Rex in the computer room. It was fun to be on the other end of the conversations, though.

That´s a left over from pre-release days. The Trigger to "End" UGC is fairly new. I´ll probably fix this lil´ run in the coming days.

Hey McDougle. This was a funny run... I encountered a bug though. After finishing the fight (Lady Z did not even make it through the control room) RC had his final litle talk to his pet basilisks. Afterwards the screen just faded to black and... nothing. I could ESC to the menu but no button was clickable. Had to ALT + F4 the game to get out of it :-( Despite that... awesome job :)

Ha, that was fun. I encountered the freeze at the end, game actually returned to the map, but I was unable to get to the main menu. The AI was also bit funky, they all tried to charge the mage, kamikaze style, and created a nice shooting range for the shotgun guys.

lady z and the troll with the shotgun stayed in the first room for no apparent reason. was really easy to take them down with just guards 2 at a time. also the game froze on black after the dialoge ended.

Interesting. Thanks for the bug report. I initially created this during the first week after I got early Access. Looks like the newest Editor / Engine builds broke it again. I´ll have a look when I have some spare time.

Fun idea, and the execution is mostly good, but several bugs occured while I was playing. Firstly, the basilisks started wandering around all over the place well before Lady Z reached me, which slowed the gameplay down quite a bit. Second, one of the guards I lost in the second fight mysteriously revived after the "everyone is dead but us" message. Thirdly, and probably most important, once I'd killed Lady Z and her runners, nothing happened, not even some sort of "that takes care of that" victory message.

Also, and this isn't very important, you seem to have mistakenly used ` instead of ' for Lady Z's conversation box when she reaches the mage.

Basically RC and one of the Runners tell each other they will kill the other (like in the Alpha Gameplay video, but you´re on the other side of the convo). That convo should´ve triggered when you entered the room that the drone flies into and attacks the Ork.

he made a comment about should i stay and defend this room? but i moved him forward to where most of the guards where fighting and the basalisk jsut seemed to stay neutral wandering around the experiment room.

I beat this, and it was very amusing. It was unfortunate that it didn't have a tidy little ending, though.

Funny reversal! Too short to be something I would be into... maybe you should look at expanding the storyline of this villain, and make a full campaign out of it. Maybe remove the lead villain and allow the player to create his/her own villain to control?

They didn´t lock the basilisk´s because I didn´t script that event. I wanted RC and co. to win. ;) They already lost in the Alpha Gameplay. :D

Lady Z and her ork decker, troll shaman and Armitage don't have a chance against a player with 5(+1lobby) guards, a mage (RC) and the basilisks.
As long as the AI don't use the shaman to call the spirit in the lab
or any of the runners to check the computer for the password to lock the basilisks's door and kill them with the gas.

hopefully the AI is way better in the game

really fun to watch but lonestar guards should to learn using their gun :)
