i dont know if you do mod requests or not but her goes. ive been trying to make a hachigane mod that lets you color the cloth part w/e color you want but cant seem to figuer it out. imo hachigane are the best headpeace to wear with armored rags, so id love to be able to match their colors together. can you make a mod that makes the metal part of the hachigane match the armored rags metal and make the hachigane cloth able to change colors?

It ends up having more of a lighter gray compared to normal and does not accept faction coloring like it did before. I think it has something to do with the material, but I am not versed enough to figure it out

Just gonna note that the mask lost its black color from vanilla, not sure what change the author made to cause this

It works, but one thing I noticed is the color of the Ninja Mask is more grey now, instead of black. I especially noticed this on the Shinobi Thief guild members. Does anyone know how to change the color back to black?

Just managed to make a mod for that, finally figured it out, hopefully it works as planned.

@BrendanatorX i have not worked on this for quite a while and even back then it was kind of a short project. You could try to temper with it by yourself though, Kenshis Modkit is super easy to use

There is another mod that makes the ninja mask light armor which I'm using, I don't know if these will conflict, but I would love an all in one mod that fixes the mask rotation, makes it light armor so the stealth actually works, AND something that I've not seen at all, makes the ninja mask actually black and not a grey that stands out as different from the rest of the ninja get up.

i like this mod but ive played kenshi for so long it be weird to change the dumpy vanilla ninja mask XD any chance you could do a mod copy and reupload of this mod that keeps the vanilla mask
spawns and just adds your fixed version in as an alternative copy? in venders and chance to spawn on npcs that would normally have the vanilla version equipped?

Can you also make it light armor?

@DubMeister ahhhh i see. Well this should be fairly simple to fix. Either you change the load order so my mod loads after (or before... try out) this mod. If that doesnt do it, simply open the game editor,
Open Minor Mesh fixes in it.
Click "Changes" on the top of ur screen.
Search for the Ninja mask, and delete its changes.
Save the Mod and only open load the Version you edited after that.
I can assure you, my mod should have no clipping issues ;)

If that doesnt fix it. Dont hesitate to write me again. Im pretty busy atm so probably wont have the time to Fix the Compability on my end. But im sure we will work something out :)

Minor Mesh fixes just slightly adjusts the position of some hats to correct the clipping with the nose and ears, or to properly align with the eyes. That mod doesn't seem to interfere with Bandanas, so it doesn't overwrite your other mod, but since it changes the ninja mask, it's conflicting with this one.

@DubMeister Huh, thats Odd. Thank you for posting it. Do you have Compability Problems with other Armor Mods having Minor Mesh fixes enabled? If i can remember correctly i didnt do much except linking the ingame item to a new Mesh. What does Minor Mesh fixes do exactly?

Confimed. Mod called Minor Mesh fixes conflicting with it. Unsure if changing load order will fix it.

Can't get this to work. I'm sure it's not you, but must be a conflicting mod on my end. I'll try figure it out and post it here when I do so others know.

Oh, so weight painting is a general thing used in meshes then? I thought this was only used in games like the elder scrolls for some reason.

There is one over on the nexus which is the one i used to use before my my laptop crashed and i lost everything from this game.

@PL I looked into it, every piece of Clothing has an option where you can have an alternate Mesh for it when worn with another item that overlaps it.

I tried to do this with the Ninja Rags first, just removed the "Mouth Covering" Part and pushed it underneath the Ninja Mask.
Problem is when i import a Mesh, its "Weight Painting" is lost (Dont want to go into too much detail). And i would have to rerigg it (Like manually paint which bone moves what part)...

So what i will do is ill just change the Mesh of the Ninja Mask when worn with the Ninja Rags, already created the Mesh for it... it makes the Lower Jaw of the Character appear bigger and doesnt sit as thight as my original mask but hey... at least theres no clipping ;)

Id love to upload a screenshot of it but i dont know where :D

Its true what you wrote about the Disguising, i think that actually should be Part of the Game.
Theres so many armours that Partially or Completely hide your Face, and i want to make a mod for Disguise some day.
