if they are randomly spawning,
they go with faction/NPC mods?

if they are placed around the world,
then they go with the overhaul mods?

all pets start out young. so they have to grow.

Note to my last comment i have 2 iron spiders and 1 security spider their athletics is 26 in stats it says their run speed should be 20+ but on the side bar and in game they refuse to go more then 6

I also seem to not have my pets leveling. Like the side bar shows the althetics skill is 26 but the stats menu says its only 1 and when the xp hits to level up it says 1, while the sidebar shows the new level. all of my pets are stuck at 6mph

I used this mod like 2 months ago AND when I finally found a merchant selling River Raptor and spend all my money turns out that the pet doesnt level up!!
Imagine having all your characters running at decent speed and a chonki raptor that never levels up it's skills

you feed them like you do anyone else in your party.
feeding troughs, tossing food on teh ground. having member in party and with backpack and food in inventory

the mod and balance is set to my satisfaction.
the crimper is much worse when it comes to balance.
so i have no plans to update it.

Hello, I found that some animals are too cheap, especially the curler which is only 1000. . It’s too disruptive to the balance of the game. Are you not going to update it?

the only OP animal is the Crimpers.
i deliberately left the rest out as i didn't want it to be to non lore friendly.

and the Crimper's are bugged as is. and nothing i can do to fix em.

most are wandering traders.
or where you normally buy animals.
some animals are restricted to zones that fit them. so if you want them all, you have to travel around looking for them.

they grow, but take much longer. it represents you lacking the ability to gather parts to finish making it a full robotic pet. so takes about 3 times longer then the fleshy pets.

Ive been looking through comments but I dont really see an answer.. Do the robot pets grow? My mechanical spiders arent too strong and their stats havent seemed to change.

I did not set them to be sold as adults.
only varying degrees of pup/teen status.

I had no plans to add adults pets to be sold.

I do like this MOD. But I don't love it.
I can't ever recall seeing a trader that sells ADULT beasties.
It's always pups or teens. Never an adult.

Any chance of a tweak to this very likeable MOD that would become loveable if there were adult beasties to buy?

11 traders turned up to my base so far - still no luck in finding Robo spiders.

Is there a set camp location thats likely to sell them?

Robot spiders for only 1.5k each are waaay too cheap, how do I make them 10x more expensive? Changing "buy value" in the FCS ?
