I recently found your mod in hopes of creating a plane in scrap mechanic. I started with a box with wings that almost worked, and then I tried a jet with larger wings for (in theory) more lift. The plane seemed to not lift at all, so I need your help. Plus, who knows if we can troubleshoot a thing or two. I can upload my jet If needed, but I really need your help.

@halmets The terrible answer is: it depends, and it is inconsistent based on the orientation of your build in the creation's local coordinate space. This mod is getting worrying amounts of subs, maybe I should revamp it...

If two blocks are laying next to each other and start moving in a direction so that only one block has air resistance (like this: <----[][]), will the drag be that of two blocks or will the mod recognize that there is no air in front of the right block, meaning that the drag is the same as with one block?

No, the "aerodynamic shape" of every part is its bounding box, which is always a cuboid.

The only problem I have with this mod is that after the first load, you HAVE to restart your game to let it play with that mod again. Because it ID conflicts with itself.

im building planes with the wings mod then taking the wings off and using this mod and the wings mod works but this doesnt.

this mod doesn't work that great. i have a hard time making my plane fly and it has to fly at very high speeds. i like the consept and i would love to play with it again when it gets better

does this take into account if other blocks are in the way? like you have a wing that has a piston inside with more thing that you can stick out to provide more drag/lift

I have attempted to use this a few times and it doesn't seem powerful enough, even though it's realistic, it doesn't make much of a difference unless you are going at a super high speed
