I have been experimenting with a variety of ideas and directions in gmod "gamemode" development/modding in general since working on this.
I will not be making a sequel to this mod unfortunately.
However I AM working on potentially making a new gamemode which is still violent/dystopic and heavily sandbox oriented. Especially now that I've had a full fucking epiphany/cracked the code on how to get anything working that's more complicated then a basic FPS or sandbox derivative on gmod's depraved and sadistic engine lol.
Once again I apologize for getting anybody's hopes up, but I've been juggling a lot in my life, and with my artistic/developmental bullsh
I'm thinking I might add another map, or two.
Definitely a shit ton more quests.
Updated resources, market, and costs. (Such as a calculated cost on props similar to that of prop price and fluctuating market prices for resources).
Updated interfaces/graphics.
However I of course would be taking it a different direction. Based off of the platform you left, I'd be expanding WAY further past that towards my own vision. So that's why I ask for your permission.
I would of course give full credit for the already impressive work you've already endured. From what I've seen it must of been a pain in the ass to make and use your mapposinfo.lua lol.
Please consider it, I hate to see such an unprecedented idea in gmod, with such quality and potential just sit there and rot.
You can turn off the mask overlay in the settings
