As far as I know you've to edit the character entries in the startpos too, but both characters' starting positions must be located in the same town for a successful implementation in the family system.

@pizzaman6
I tried to marry Antony and Cleopatra by changing only the db files (without modding the startpos.efs file) but I was unsuccessful.

Ok, I decided to give the title of Princeps Civitatis to Octavian (for a historical reason) and Pompey (because Pompey opposed the creation of an Empire). Antony and Lepidus will have the title of Imperator if they change their government to Empire.

Great thought, I did excatly same changes for myself at home. Also use title Imperator instead of Emperor for Roman factions.

This is great! I was always hoping that someone would do something like this. If I may make a suggestion for the IA campaign... I don't know if this is possible but I was thinking that it would be cool to make Antony start the campaign being married to Cleopatra.

Augustus was imperator though (hence "Imperator Augustus") and the English word 'emperor' comes from the Latin 'imperator' so I think it's okay as emperor. Although it would also be okay if it were changed to 'imperator' and that might actually be more accurate.

@Boicote
Augustus never actually took the title of a monarch, preferring Princeps Civitatis (Chief Citizen, or First Citizen of the State).

@king.in.the.north
The current title is “Emperor”. Why do you prefer Princeps Civitatis? Is there any historical reason?

@ToonTotalWar
Those are two experimental files that I'm testing but I'm not sure if I should include them in the mod. Those files change the political parties. For example, if you play as Octavian, the opposition parties inside your own faction are Antony Supporters, Lepidus Supporters, Pompey Supporters and Senate Loyalists. I'm not sure if I should include them because, as Octavian, you may send a general who likes Antony to fight a battle against ...Antony.

If you want to see this political party system implemented, all you have to do is to delete the prefix "APAGAR_" in the db files and the suffix "APAGAR" in the loc files located in text/db/political parties.

Very interesting. I wonder why they didin't put in first instance.
ToonTotalWar 2018 年 9 月 30 日 上午 12:06
why are there two red entries in the files for? APAGAR_faction_political_parties_junctions_tables and APAGAR_political_parties_tables?
Clumsy 2018 年 9 月 29 日 下午 5:45
Awesome! This is how it always should have been. Does it work with DEI?
Deckard Bladerunner 2018 年 9 月 29 日 上午 7:45

D0tDash 2018 年 9 月 28 日 下午 5:34
This is wonderful, thank you! Request/suggestion: if a Roman faction establishes an empire, could the faction leader's title be Princeps Civitatis?
Benjin 2018 年 9 月 28 日 下午 4:49
Great idea - this should have been done by CA when they did the Power & Politics update.
