I do think it'd be a nice layer of immersion for the mod, sort of like how some other mods (such as the Girls Und Panzer mods) feature unique unit models for their civilization, but I also understand that it's a lengthy and painstaking process having to port and rig models, so no worries either way!

I don't know, it's not something I've pursued at the moment. Maybe in the future, but at this time I have no plans to implement such models.

I have a question, with playermodels for the Helghast soldiers available through other games such as Gmod, would it be possible to rig these for use as custom troop models for the Helghast? (With permission from the person who ported the models originally, ofc)

There's not much I can do about that, unfortunately. The Helghast Civ is from a futuristic science-fiction setting after all. Sorry.

That's a pretty good idea, but unfortunately I don't actually know how to make new religions. I mostly specialize in new Civs and not much else.

Maybe you can add the Helghast Creed or Dream as a religion

I'll admit - I've never seen this problem before. It's not subscribing when you press subscribe, and it's not downloading with Steamworkshopdownloader?

I tried subscribing prior to using the downloader and it didn't work then either, I got your ISA, Red Faction and EDF mods though. So its just this one not downloading.

Try subscribing to the mod on Steam right here, then tell me what happens. After that, if things go smoothly, navigate to your Civ V mods folder (Documents/My Games/Sid Meier's Civilization 5/MODS) and tell me if the Helghast is there, and if so, whether they're a .civ5mod file or a mod folder.

I tried using the link below and it still won't download it. It does the same thing.

The ISA is the Interplanetary Strategic Alliance, which functions as a sort of colonial militia system under the United Colonial Nations, with each planet's ISA branch being able to operate with some level of independence and autonomy, and develop equiment and defensive strategies specifically designed for the defense of their planet.

The VSA is the Vektan Security Agency, which is an intelligence agency that was founded during Killzone: Shadow Fall's Cold War between the Helghast and the Vektans. It's Vekta's version of the real-world CIA, kind of.

To conclude: The ISA is the human military you see in the main trilogy. The VSA is an intelligence agency administered by the Vektan government during the events of Killzone: Shadow Fall.

Unfortunately no. One of the pictures shows that the MAWLR appears as a Giant Death Robot, and the Jetpack Infantry appears as an XCOM Squad.

I don't know how to make custom models, and I've heard that it's a terribly grueling process that takes a long time, not to mention how long it'll take to learn. Most modders skip the models, and I'm no different - I'd rather focus on making new nations, rather than units.

Question do the units have there own animations and player models?

If so, you will likely have to make Daedelus from Resistance 2 be the leader since he's the only named Chimera leader.

I've got some good news and some bad news for you. I don't have Resistance right now, but I'm planning to get it, and I will definitely take a gander at making a Chimera Civ.
