im glad you where able to fix it, i wasnt sure what the issue would have been but as its something that no one else has complained about i expected i couldent do mutch if anything to help, and yes, everything in the home is from vanilla skyrim and hearthfire so if the mod effects those textures the mod will effect breezehome.
im unsure of what the issue would be, it seams like an issue with the the steam subscription system.
No worries, and I've put it very close to the bottom of the load order, the only thing before it is hair mods and the Auryn mod. -shrugs- <: 3
No worries, I understand how that works, and it's a minor thing I don't mind working through. :)
have you tryed haveing run near the end of your load order? im sorry i cant be of more help, but my skyrim instal is completly buggered up for one reason or another (graphics card not working with enb, ect.) so it will take me a wile before i can see if there is anything i can do
I've no other hearthfire mods, and the only other mod I have that involves children is Children Can Wear All, and that just allows them to wear clothes and armor.
hmm, they should follow there proper pathing, the area is fully navmeshed. other then amazing follower tweeks, do you have any other follower mods or hearthfire child mods?
Well, this mod is sadly the only one I have that changes Breezehome in the slightest. The wall piece eventually appeared after talking to the steward and having the "replace alchemy table with children's room" option selected. I've been able to manage getting Lydia and Lucia- who I've made my companion through Amazing Follower Tweaks- into their beds by the "I need you to do something" tab and baby-stepping through to the beds. Only when they were in front of them could they sleep in them, but even then they'd float off of the floor and otherwise not be laying actually on their beds.
Still though, I love Breezehome now and regardless of these little quirks I intend to keep using it. :)
i have had these complaints before, but im not syre how to fix them as they arent problems i have, my only sugestion is to follow the steps carefully and make sure you dont have anything that would alter breezehome.
Upon entering too, Lydia also stays completely still and doesn't move anywhere, despite that I have Amazing Follower Tweaks and I tell her to relax. She won't move, she won't use her bed or room even upon command to do so, and even when told to follow she doesn't.
Other than the section of wall and Lydia not being able to function inside the house, it is a lovely mod and thank you for making this overhaul.
have you tried the resetinterior cheat outside the home?(note exact cheat in the mod description) this sometimes fixes things like that, but remember to quicksave outside the home BEFORE you use the cheat
well you probibly have an incompatibility, because out of over 800 people you have been the only one with this problem, so something is wroung, but its a question of what mod is causeing it, not what is in my mod thats causeing it :/ but i just dont know what on earth would let that happen, can your followers move in and out of the house freely? or are they stuck?
It sounds like you have an incompatibility with another mod, if the fire pit and floor had been working before if you have any other house mods installed it could be those, try moveing the mods esp file down your load order to see if that fixes it, the weapon racks do get bugged with the use of the creation kit, im not sure what causes it.
BTW this is a common problem with the modders creation kit and I have found it in other mods.
yes it will crash youre game with out fail, because its trying to take assets from hearthfire and if you dont have the assets skyrim doesnt work. but really, hearthfire is worth it simply because of all the great mods that require it, and hay its 5 bucks,
yeah, im glad you found out what the problem was, but yes breezehome is a veary populer home to mod, as well as it tends to be what house modders use to get items from, or learn the scripting from and if they dont clean the mod afterword it can screw with any other mod that edits breezehome. but im glad you like it.
if you uninstall the mod and the options are still not there than it is not my mod causeing it. however if your haveing this problem starting a new game might not help, because it might be caused by something else.
uninstall my mod and check, if it still doesnt work uninstall all other mods by dissableing the plugin file through NMM or the skyrim launcher (i sugest NMM) no need to fully uninstall anything. if its been fixed then you know it was a mod still installed, enable everything again, and then dissable 10-20 mods at a time (be careful the ones you dissable arent used by other mods) if the bug persists eneble those mods, and continue to the next batch, untill you find a batch that fixes the bug. then enable 2 mods at a time untill the bug reapears, dissable one; check if the bug is gone; if it is the one still dissabled is the problem. if its still there the one you just enabled is the problem. hope this helps
- you can't take back your weapon from the weapon holder over the entrance door
- you can't take back your shield from the right shild holder (upper and lower left side) in the basement
I've checked this with two different skyrim players, we both have this bug.
i will work on the caseing, the beam and i will try to make the stairs a bit better, however the problem with changeing the alchemy satchel is the fact that people have a lot of alchemy supplys in that satchel, so if i just change it everyones alchemy supplys get destroyed. because steam, auto updates withough telling anyone the changes.
the random fireplace floating in the void and the broaken weapon rack isnt a problem with my mod, like it says in the description breezehome is used to take items from by allot of house mods, so its a case of another mod editing breezehome accedentily and not cleening it after. i dont know what mods you may have that do this, but most likely that is the problem your haveing
I haven't done anything with adopting blood banks children, so I can't comment on that aspect, but at least I can now have both my alchemy lab and the children's room at the same time. Having to sacrifice my potions was definitely not a good thing with the vanilla home.
By the way, the "weight slider" comment was a joke. :)
If everything gets reset properly, the lighting and framerate issues go away. It was something to do with a random fireplace floating in the void. PEBKAC.
Case issues: in the enchanting room, "Soul Gems" and "Scrolls", and in the entry way, the two "Crafting Supplies Chest" containers. (The 'g', 's', and 's' in those names need to be upper-case).
There's a wooden beam to the right of the lower staircase as you look down from the top. Remove it, or slide it further to the right. The upper staircase has plenty of room, but the lower staircase is just a tad too tight to consistently run down at full speed.
Running up the upper staircase is now perfect (vanilla was buggy). The lower staircase is buggy though, so you get stuck a little near the top. Try moving the staircase up slightly.
Try using the vanilla alchemy satchel so my other mod (id=9360) will work. :)
i will fix the spelling mistakes in the next version, the gap, and the no alchemy lab is because you do not have the correct areas perchesed, it has changed because the game itself doesn't allow you to adopt a child unless you perches the child furnishings so things have changed, the weight slider doesn't actually have any effect on where you can fit, unless you changed youre height, but i don't have any problem with this so not sure how to fix it, you can not sprint down the stairs, however walking is just fine, im not adding a full smelting area because its meant as a lore friendly simple breezehome with proper hearth fire integration, and its not realistic to have a full smelting area in your home, when there's full smithing right down road. and sadly im not sure how my mod is so intencive, i get perfact 60fps in the home while i get 40-50 in whiterun, and 30 in tamriel. so i dont know what to say about that.
These aren't bugs, but it would be nice to have a forge, smelter, tanning rack, workbench, and grinding wheel inside like my old mod.
The only other mod I have that affects Breezehome is the official Hearthfire DLC. I had a different mod, but it doesn't work with the DLC, so I'm trying to find something new. The idea was nice, but the execution was lacking.
Thanks!
