to mount tf2, you must have the game, (it's free on steam!) and then go to garry's mod, go to the "games" down in the bottom corner, and make sure tf2 has a checkmark on it by clicking it.

There are likely guides explaining better than I can on how to mount games.

Maybe, maybe not. Apparently the Gmod community expects players to download external material (Counter-Strike: Source for example) to fill in missing textures and such. The reason you need TF2 for this map specifically isn't because they're not included in the addon, it's because some textures share the same name and thus conflict with default Gmod textures.

I’ve seen videos of the map using npcs just fine, I wouldn’t know why they don’t move for you.

@Miki, what I meant was I tried placing a few NPCs such as Combine NPCs, and they somehow stand and not move.

It has a nav mesh and hl2 nodes, I don't know what you mean.

Hmm, it says here in the description that it has AI nodes, but it only has for Nextbots, not normal NPCs. Could you maybe add if ever?

Perhaps TF2 and Garry's Mod have shared file names for textures, and so nothing loads (checkerboards). This is very good insight that mounting TF2 fixes the issue, because textures are used not from vanilla TF2, but show up fine. Thank you for this comment, I've moved on from this map, but I'm very glad that the solution was something so simple for you. I'll update the description

don't worry, you need tf2 for textures which is free. i mounted it and it worked
