Would a pure portrait mod without the gameplay parts be Ironplush compatible? If so, would you be willing to make one? I adore these, but I usually play Ironman for all my solo campaigns.

I've added a Mecha-Paluush portrait group.

It turns out that you're not allowed to use Paluush portraits with a machine race. So my idea of a caretaker empire ruled by the post-singularity AI's of a line of fuzzy children's toys got thrown in the bin.

You can however create an Assimilatior empire who turns all captured races into fuzzy cyborgs.

Haven't any idea why, but using the paluush portraits causes pops to not need upkeep; they don't eat food or consume any goods even if their living standards say they should

For some reason, I can't force an AI empire to spawn while using these portraits. The same happens with one or two other species mods I have downloaded, but only a couple.

Any idea if this a specific setting in the files, or is this a bug?

You gotta get the Plushies Planets mod, and then you can terraform any regular habitable planet (not tomb or terraforming candidate) to a Fluffy World.
