okay, so i've found out the issue.

You have to load this mod before any other prop overhaul, because the prop overhaul pack remodels the blue barrel, this mod will override it if its used before, so install this FIRST!

turns out i'm an idiot and left model detail on medium. lol

this is definitely a problem on my end, ill see what i can do to fix this strange issue.

actually nevermind, the model actually worked, it was really low poly for some odd reason!

Also, i'm using windows 11 if you're curious about what system i'm using.

i literally have no other addons installed, and now the texture gets replaced and works fine, but the model itself stays the same as the default blue barrel. I've tried to verify the integrity of the game's files, but that fixed nothing.

The problem has to be on your end, as it works just fine on all my machines. I know that GMod can be a bit weird about asset conflicts and caching stuff, so you might have to poke around on the internet to find a solution.

Doesn't work on mine. There are no addons interfering with the blue barrel, and yet the textures are still fucked. Please fix this.

I'd try disabling any other texture mods that might be interfering. It might be overriding the model but not the texture.

I know this was just updated but the textures still look off and broken. I dont know why

I have updated the addon to allow picking up with your hands, as well as adding the chunk01 variant.

its really cool but its causes issues as it cant be picked up using e which will cause issues in water hazard

doesn't seem to work for me tho. uninstalled from all my addons too.

Alright folks I figured out how to fix it so buckle in

First, launch Gmod and go to the "addons" tab

Hover over this addon, and press "uninstall"

Press the wrench at the bottom right to open up the advanced menu. Press the button to disable all addons.

Press the tilde key and type the console command "menu_cleanupgmas"

Close gmod and resubscribe to this addon

Launch gmod again, and re-enable all of your addons through the addons menu

This addon is very picky about conflicts, but if you follow these steps, it SHOULD work.

Crazy its same with me i disabled all of my addons its still broken its like the top is split into sections and stuff ill upload a image to my profile of what it looks like.

Sound's like another addon is overriding my textures, try removing any other workshop item that would replace textures.

About this - dude - it looks awesome. It looks everyhing god damn right. 'This way up' and 'Recycleble' symbols are right for this type of UN certified tare.

The model gets downloaded, but seemingly not the textures. Instead it tries to use the original blue barrel textures. Are you sure the textures are in the download?

yeah, that's the FOV of SFM, I don't do much in Source, so I didn't bother changing it.

The addon thumbnails for these always seem... squished.
