Unfortunately this fun looking class is dead in the water with no updates from mod creator over past few years now.

Is this mod still being worked on? I would most definitely like to see a fully built Paladin class mod! :)

does divine cleansing actually clear any effects or is it just a AoE fire?

Most (all?) healing by default scales with Hydro. The only other option is to do % Max HP healing, which I have only ever seen a few mods do. Don't recall any vanilla skills that do this. So point is while Pyro makes a lot more sense thematically for most of these, it may be a limitation of the game engine and therefore require more work such as advanced scripting to implement a true Warfare + Pyro mod using these specific skills.

By that logic Divine Cleansing and Holy Blaze should be Pyro as well. Its no big deal. To me it makes sense that the Paladin is just Hydrosophist and Warfare. Just my opinion. Looks lik a great mod I should try it out sometime.

Why does Rightous Step require Pyrokinetic, but everything else requires Warfare and/or Hydrosophist?

Looking forward to seeing further updates on this, I'm a few weeks off from starting a new file and this would be perfect for a character I want to make.

@changthas I did change her location, she is now near where sebille is located early on, but acroos the way under the tree on top of the boards there. Ill see if I can add a screenshot to show.
