Found this old mod while looking for a fix that would remove these noises from hive and machine worlds. Hearing this 15x a minute while managing my empire in the mid game is just so annoying but apparently no one who mods thinks so. Unfortunate.

Sir, this is a small fix for an old version of the game (the bug is fixed in more recent version) to re-add the correct ambient sound for a niche category of world.

@ClayWarTheOne: Unless Paradox broke it again, the issue this mod was addressing has been fixed as of some time last year. I don't know if it works in 2.8, but it shouldn't be necessary unless Paradox is super dumb.

The issue this mod was made to address seems to have been fixed by Paradox in a recent version, so I am discontinuing support for this mod.

The Scourge wouldn't be defined in that file, because they are not a custom empire (or even a conventional empire at all).

@Clogulf: It's stored in /Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/user_empire_designs.txt on Windows, not sure about other platforms.

@Clogulf: Just edit one of your custom civilisations in the text file to have pc_hive as its starting planet class. Don't need a mod for it.

Hmm. It seems as though the hive world has a machine world sound when I click on it and then it's silent after that. No infested sounds or anything.

Could a Hive world version be made? The infested worlds from the Swarm have an ambient sound but the hive worlds for Hive minds don't.
