Because they hit subscribe from the thumbnail page instead from this actual page. They don't know there are other assets required.

The thought had crossed my mind. But I wouldn't say there's a great range of suitable alternative vegetation.
That would also leave about 75% flapping around with the asset editor or looking for empty greenhouses to put prop plants in. An unlikely statistic I think.

So it's meant as a dependancy warning as much as anything.

Maybe they decide to dl a different crop. Peppers perhaps?

I'm a little bemused by the fact that less than 25% of subscribers actually download the tomato plant prop. For those who don't.. I'm not sure what you're expecting to be growing in the greenhouse without it...?
