to raise, hold F on the crank handles
to lower/drop, press F on the lockable rope drum.
before raising. make sure the rope drum is in it locked state
everyone is a noob to a game at some point, theres no shame in not knowing things, only in refusing to learn them.
the locking catch blocks dont seem to work curently and explode far more often. at least thats how it is for me
Thank you for answer. so that looks like I must rebuild whole mast again. But now I will use locking catch blocks for these two points, and maybe another breakdown will be easier to repair.
if the rigging is in place it will keep the rotation of the 2 catch blocks at the same angle, which will allow for easy replacement
1st completely remove the broken catch block and the 1x2 timber that it attaches to
2nd place a new catch block down, and place the 1x2 timber back on the top and everything "should" merg togeather and be fixed.
however if the angle of the intact catch block got rotated then you'll have to rebuild the whole rear mast/sail from the ground up.
i built it in survival and have been dealing with those issues myself. it seems pretty random when it breaks
in my experience interacting with the wheel mounted flat on the deck was more reliable and effective than any realistic stearing mechanism
1st be subscribed to the workshop item
2nd load up your would
(if its survival you need to press Alt+f10 then enable creative mode tools.)
3rd press f10 and find the blueprint you want and press the "OK" button when you have it selected
4th press Ctrl+V to spawn in the bluprint and left mouse click to place it.
you may want to use the block rotation keys to rotate it before spawning it.
5th step use rope to re-attach all the rigging, and place and attach nets.
LOL
i was just waiting for someone to notice.
in ME, every man need more wenches
I think you mean winch. lol
Good job, by the way. Very creative and well engineered.
